Coming back to MB after a long time away (v2.1), I find many exciting new features to fiddle with. Lovely!
What I tried to do is use the new Artwork view and group by album artists so that when I click the artist's image I get a list of albums sorted by their release date in reverse: Newer albums on the left, older ones off to the right. Setting a custom search order is easy enough.
Unfortunately, it seems like the sort order option is completely grayed-out. It is also grayed-out in all other artists grouping options.

The custom sort order works just fine when I group the view by Album.

Right click on the album list under artist image and find "Sort Albums" setting. Grayed-out options are of no use when grouped by artist.

Yup, that worked nicely, thank you!
