Hi, I seem to be having a weird problem with my Musicbee. I have been adding files to Musicbee all the time and now I added some new files and they went under podcast. The files are MP3. What would cause this?

Thanks!

This might happen if the files were previously set as podcasts by iTunes.  Use the Tag Inspector to look for a tag called "iTunes Podcast": http://musicbee.wikia.com/wiki/Tag_inspector#Tag_Inspector

You can drag files out of podcasts to your Music Library to fix it, but they may still have the podcast flag which could cause problems again later.

Thanks for the reply!

I read that info and it turns out that it says ITUNES PODCAST in the Tag Inspector area of those files. I will remove it one by one on the tracks. I could not figure that one out, thanks so much!!!!  :D

Glad to help!  I had a similar problem for a while, took me the longest time to figure out.

BTW, as long as they're all MP3, you can select them all and remove all the tags at once in the tag inspector. Might save you some time.
