Odd Exported Playlist Problem

I really don't think this problem is being caused by MB, but I thought I throw it out here to see if anyone has a suggestion.

I'm using MB to export playlists for importing into SubSonic and a Squeezebox device.  When the playlist is loaded into either player, it is missing the first track.  It doesn't matter if the MB playlists are static or Auto.  It doesn't matter whether they're *.m3u or *.m3u8.    Looking at the playlists via Notepad++ all the tracks are present.  Yet when imported to SubSonic or Squeezebox (via Logitech Media Server) the first track (and always the first track) is missing.

FWIW, the playlists are fine when sync'd via MB to my iPod or Android device.

Does anyone have any idea how I can troubleshoot this?
