Hello all!  I'm wondering if anyone might be able to suggest a relatively inexpensive (under $100 U.S.) D/A converter for my laptop. As the on board sound card in my old Toshiba just isn't cutting it. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your input! :)

I recently posted this, if it helps:

My DragonFly is due on the 1st Sept, although I'll be back at work by then, so won't be able to pick it up from the post office until the 2nd, and then it will probably be the 3rd or 4th by the time I get a chance to test it properly. After that though, I'll post my opinion in that thread.

If you're really on a budget, then maybe something from the Soundblaster range would do? Eg. X-Fi HD

EDIT: review posted in the other thread.

This is at $160, but it's a DAC and Amp, and works with most Android devices.  I got it to review masters I've been mixing down and how SoundCloud trashes them on various PCs.  :-)  I use it with my Galaxy Note 3 and a beater PC at work, where it comes up as an S/PDIF connection in Windows 7.  At home, I use a Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 I/O box for recording and playback, and the E18 Kunlun for everything else.
