Is there a way to display (and use for sorting) existing DYNAMIC RANGE tags?
They where created with a foobar plugin.

The tag DYNAMIC RANGE holds the track value and ALBUM DYNAMIC RANGE holds the average album value.

The values are stored as Integer numbers (never seen higher than 20).
For MP3 both use TXXX fields. I don't know where they're stored in other formats, like FLAC.

Which plugin can scan and store DR tags? I've been searching for years, obviously not very hard :-)
I even thought to write some small perl tool for this, but didn't figure out the algorythm.

Yeah you can do this, simply add the fields as custom tags in the 'define new tags' window.

The plugin developer I'm sure would be interested in your suggestions if you want to see something added and/or participate in the testing.

The requested URL /free-downloads was not found on this server.

If you go to the home page, and follow the Downloads link, you get the same error; it's a fault with that website, not the link.

Hi, don't know if you're still around but can you describe how did you got it to work? For the love of me that I can't do it, all I get are errors.

Thanks.

EDIT: Dustcap last activity was on 2015 LOL. Anyone?

Hi, thanks!!

Guess what... as I was doing screen scaps I finally figured it out!!!!

Since the OP never explained anything, I'll do it for the next person that stops by:

I was trying to get columns with Dynamic Range tags. As the OP reads, this tags are stored as "TXXX/DYNAMIC RAGE" and "TXXX/ALBUM DYNAMIC RANGE".

In order to get this to work, we need to FIRST "Define new tags" in the Preferences Dialog, in the "Tags 1" tab.

And the we head back to Custom tags and select this new created fields:

Now we can adds those as custom columns!

Greetings!
