Album's Split Up/Unorganised, Need help!

Ok so i'm new to musicbee, just downloaded it find it a great alternative to iTunes/winAMP/spotify etc..

i have a problem though, when i add my albums some albums stay as an album (like they should) whilst other albums split the songs up into singles scattered across my library,

as you can see with the marbella sessions album & ultra dance 15, the albums have split themselves up? Why..

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for the screenshots!  They really help.

Do you have an album artist defined for these albums?  While your settings should work for grouping by album, you have your library grouped by album artist.  If MusicBee doesn't find an album artist, it will treat the Artist name as the Album Artist (UNLESS you have iTunes compilation checked in the Tag Editor and "detect iTunes compilations and treat as album artist" checked in Preferences).

I highlighted all the loose Marbella Sessions/Songs and clicked "Edit" & in the tag section i chose "iTunes Compilation YES" but nothing happend, i cannot seem to find the other option you are talking about in preferences "detect iTunes compilations and treat as album artist" -- where abouts is this in the preferences? iv scoured it top to bottom

It's in Sorting/Grouping Preferences, at the bottom: http://musicbee.wikia.com/wiki/Sorting_%26_Grouping

You will have to switch to defining an album by fields in order to use that option.
