installation problems - cannot get program to run

i cannot get musicbee to run. does winamp have to be uninstalled. any ideas  any services that need to be turned off as I have several turned off.

i installed the program. It installed to directory and made an icon.When i click on icon, i get hourglass and then nothing. it goed back to desktop. I can see the program in taskmanager process but it is not running. I have some services set to manual one of them being do net framework 4. Iam totally at a loss. I build computers and am pretty savy, but I can't figure this out. no error message, no crash, just no program running. Running xp sp 3. don't what to try. have installed 2 x. Installed v2.1 and then ran v2.4 installer and the ver listed is 2.4 Any idea's.

Yeah, MusicBee uses .NET, so you should probably reinstate that.  Also, download 2.3 from the download page here, and THEN install 2.4.  Installing 2.4 over 2.1 could be causing problems, too.

okay. I'll try that. Should i uninstall v2.4 first

You don't have to, but may as well start from scratch.
