Hi, I installed MB again on my new pc and have a problem with playing cds from the DVD player. When I choose play on Drive (A:) an error is displayed, saying (translated back to English): "cannot play this file, it has a format that is not supported or it is damaged". There's nothing wrong with the cd and I can play it with VLC Media Player and Windows Media Player. What's wrong?

if you are able to change the drive mapping to C: or above, i am guessing thats where the issue lies. Although I had thought the handling for A: and B: had been improved and i probably take another look at it at some later point

Hi Steven, thanks for responding so quickly. Yes! That could well be it, 'cause on installing the basic lay-out of my pc I changed the CD-rom drive from E to A. as I like the drive to be on top for easy reach. :-) I'll try it out. I'll let you know if that solves it. And if you could look into that later, I'd appreciate that very much!
