Permanent "Stop after current"

I am a teacher of dance and I would stop at the end of each song to comment on the steps of my students.
I found it very tedious to set the option "Stop after current" at the beginning of each song.
I ask if it is possible to permanently set this option in such a way that it remains active

you could set the player ro play only the selected song - that can be set in the Now Playing preferences

No, but you can basically do the same thing like so: in preferences, now playing settings "clear list and play selected tracks only".

Doesn't work for me.  I clicked "stop after current" on the main folder tab the now playing tab, and playlists tabs, and it still keeps going to the next song.  MB vers. 3.1.6590 windows 10.  I can't use this if it won't STOP.
