Stuff "missing" from library

Hi.

Decided to rebuild my library so started a new one.  Told it about the path to the files (on a share) and left it to scan.  Now its telling me stuff is missing and showing a path that doesn't exist.  Bit baffled why it think some files are somewhere else given I told it about only one.

Do I need to clear out the MB database or something else?

they will be coming from somewhere - i expect they will be referenced in one or more playlists you import.
Other possibilities include imported a database from an iTunes or WMP
