When I first installed MusicBee I got a LOT of empty items. So I  did a FULL going through all the files with Tag&Rename to make sure all files were named and tagged correctly!!
I then reinstalled and reimported all my files and I still get blanks! :'(
I have not gone through the blank ones because I'm still importing (a few days work)  ;)
But the first one I checked was properly recognized by the player!! So why is it blank in the archive????
Why does the program not recognize all the tags?
I LOVE the program! It's the only one that can handle BIG collections BUT when you spend weeks going through all your files to make sure everything is tagged properly and then there is still blank entries one starts to feel a bit frustrated :'(
ANY good idea what I can do??? Thankful for any help!!!
My collection is ca 10 TB.

Try: Select an item/items -> Right click -> Send To ->File Rescan

Unless you completely uninstalled MB and removed all files before reinstalling, MB would have found your old library file and be using that.

If you want to do the whole library at once:
Press 'Insert' key to bring up the 'Rescan / Add Files and Playlists' screen
select 're-scan files already in the library',  select/deselect any other options you require and proceed.

MB will re-scan all your files and update the library.

Is there any chance these are read-only files?
