.flac-files doesn't get indexed

I have some folders with mp3s and flac-files. The MP3s get indexed by MusicBee but not the flac-files, but they do work fine in VLC. What could be the problem?

what do you mean by "indexed"?
if you are refering to reading the tags, if the .flac files were ripped with an old EAC version where you had it configured to save tags as ID3V2 tags, then MB wont read those tags

I'm pretty sure it won't play them in that case either.
