Okay, with the newly implemented ReplayGain algorithm, I've been redoing all my ReplayGain values. However, I've got a question on how the clipping warnings work. This example comes from my library.

I've got a 5 track album, with the following values.

Album Gain +3.14 (Clipping -4.5)

Track 1 Gain +1.22 (Clipping -0.3)
Track 2 Gain +5.82 (Clipping -3.4)
Track 3 Gain +6.59 (Clipping -4.5)
Track 4 Gain +3.97 (Clipping -1.5)
Track 5 Gain +1.93 (Clipping None)

I know that I could just adjust the values for my whole library by -6.0db. However, I don't particularly want to do that due to the relatively poor quality of my speakers. So my question is, how should I manually adjust the values for the best? I'm assuming that for everything to be at the maximum value without clipping, I should individually adjust all of the values by the negative values given in the ReplayGain dialogue. Is this correct?

Additionally, if I analyse said album individually and manually adjust them to account for clipping, then do the whole album but only select album gain, the track gain values are still rewritten to their original calculated value. Is this expected behaviour?
