Hi,

I have been using MusicBee for 1 week now! I am a big music geek and have tried many other different kinds of music software including MediaMonkey and Foobar. I think MusicBee is awesome. Only one suggestion I have and that is to add a refresh button in the folder panel so that when new folders are created to store music, it updates. When new music files are put in the folder, it automatically detects it. However, if I download an album into my downloads folder, it will not show this album. I have to actually restart MusicBee for it show me this folder.

Also, if there are subfolders with music files in them, musicbee will not show the music files unless I click on the subfolder, not the parent folder. It would be nice if I could just click the parent folder and it will show all the music files in the subfolders too.

If there's already a refresh function, then I'm really sorry for posting this and I would appreciate it if someone would tell me what the keyboard shortcut for that is then.

Thanks!

press F5 or click the refresh button which displays when hovering over the location bar at the top of the main panel

Also try adding your music files folder to "monitored folders" setting under library preferences and make it continuously monitored.

Thank you both! Now, the only thing, "Also, if there are subfolders with music files in them, musicbee will not show the music files unless I click on the subfolder, not the parent folder. It would be nice if I could just click the parent folder and it will show all the music files in the subfolders too."

Any solution for this?

If you're referring to computer node on left navigator, right click computer node or any folder> Manage Folders> Include Files from Sub-folders.
