two columns in the track browser

The track browser has always three columns (e.g. Genre/Artist/Album). It is possible just to use two (e.g. Artist/Album)?

I'd have to agree, this would be nice.

edit: Can there be a discussion on how the user interface would work around this? :s As in what would be the most logical way to change this setting?

i dont think there would be any issues with setting this in the Layout preferences screen but of course it would be good if there was a way to do it from the main panel as well, which would be easy enough to provide a right click context menu item to hide a column but not sure the best way to add it back again
