Is there any chance that I could use Winamp's "Nullsoft Direct Sound Output" plugin? I know DSP effects are supported but this would be wonderful, considering advanced options for fading (on seek, in particular).
If this specific request isn't reasonable, could you consider working on smoother seeking, or get someone else to work on it?
