Rockbox DB Plugin

Howdy,
I'm using an Sandisk Sansa Clip+ and, well, my music collection is a mess - many dupes etc.
I'm thinking about writing plugin that'd support Rockbox Database files and show them as device's library.
Got a few questions tho:

1. Where to get the docs?
2. Am I the only one interested in this?
3. If I'll make such interface - would it stop Musicbee from copying duplicates to player? Or maybe there's some way to prevent that on ordinary MSC device?

Nice idea. If I can get an iPod classic to work consistently upon connecting though.
