Missing song problem

Hello everybody.

I am a new convert to MusicBee and I really love it. One issue I'm having is that a bunch of my songs are not showing up in my MB library.

For example, only 3 or 4 songs are showing up from each Nirvana album when all tracks are present in their respective folders. I know the files are all good.

This is happening to a large proportion of the artists in my library.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked to see if they're in the inbox for some reason?

For anyone coming across this in the future, it turned out the missing tracks were hidden as duplicates.

in that case they should have been visible in the Inbox - was that definitely not the case?
of course they would also be visible in the Duplicates Manager dialog but they should always be visible in the Inbox with a ! exclaimation mark indicating the file is a duplicate
