Ignore diacritic marks everywhere

I thought I remember seeing this topic on the forum before but for the life of me I can't find it. Is it possible to ignore diacritic marks in any context? I have checked to ignore them when searching, but the albums/artists aren't sorted this way. For example, see the picture below - I'd prefer that this album appears after the Jesca Hoop album, not after Justice.

at the moment ignoring diacritic marks only applies to searching. For sorting that would add a lot of overhead but i can see how bad it is when i look at it.
