I couldn't find the drop down menu you circled, so, I just re-installed MusicBee. All is well!Just right-click anywhere on the header bar, and down comes the menu. I'd hate to think of you feeling you had to re-install MusicBee every time something as basic as that comes up.
When you drag individual files, MB will use the order windows has chosen which means the first file will be the one highlighted when you start dragging (if you start dragging from the first file in the album then it should be in the order you want). If you drag the folder then MB applies filename sorting

I put a CD in CD-Drive and the .cda-files are recognized in the Drive but MB cannot rip .cda -filescda is not an audio file extension like mp3 or FLAC, it's a sort of pointer that indicates the presence and placement of the music tracks on the CD. You use MusicBee to rip them to actual audio files on your computer, using the extension and settings you've specified in Preferences/CD Ripping/encode as, which also requires your input in the File Encoders section to activate your choice of encoder. Check out https://musicbee.fandom.com/wiki/Ripping for some basics, as well as doing a forum search for ripping a CD.
Or do I have to adjust something?
Also, the settings window within the plugins section, where you can hit "configure", is too large. I find no way to shrink it, therefore, I am unable to see the end of it and save any settings.What is your monitor's scaling percentage? If not 100% try it at 100%
