Questions / backup to network drive
« on: January 10, 2016, 02:33:40 PM »
I have backed up my music files and settings to a usb drive plugged into my Asus router. This worked OK and I can see my backups and play them etc. But when I go to backup again after adding some new files the backup process will start over again, i.e. MB will try to back up the entire library again.
Any help please will be great.

Questions / strange backup behaviour
« on: January 24, 2015, 10:54:42 PM »
Every time I back up my actual music files there is a small bunch of them which keep backing up. I've executed backup and then immediately backed up again and these files are shown being backed up again even though there obviously have been no additions since the last back up.
Any ideas please?

Plugins / Re: UPnP/ DLNA device support
« on: January 13, 2015, 09:39:54 PM »
Hello Steven
Thanks for the DLNA plugin It has made MB pretty much the perfect program. However the DLNA device I want to send to is a Roberts radio 83i.
I can see MB music server on the Roberts and can access my music onto the radio and play it using the MB server. But I cant see the device in MB. I have pasted the error log for you to look at.
Thanks

Questions / dlna to roberts 83i
« on: December 18, 2014, 12:41:27 AM »
Having installed the dlna plugin I can see my Samsung bdh6500 Blu-ray player and my pioneer wireless speaker but not my Roberts 83i. I have tried tweaking the plugin settings with no luck.
Its the Roberts that I mainly want to use.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Questions / Re: how do you listen to your music?
« on: April 23, 2014, 11:36:29 PM »
I decided that the DLNA option wasn't really that important enough to ditch MB so I looked at an alternative Dac. Bought a NAD DAC 1 for £69 off of ebay. OUTSTANDING! My listening experience has been transformed. The good thing also is that I will be staying with MB, Phew!

Questions / Re: Any Tips for a Media Monkey Convert?
« on: April 10, 2014, 12:25:27 AM »
here's my opinion.
MB does not communicate with i phones and doesn't have a DLNA client. But that's it. In every other aspect MB is far superior.

Questions / aiff tag error?
« on: April 02, 2014, 10:59:46 PM »
When trying to edit tags for my aiff files I get a error message saying aiff tags not supported but the tags do seem to have been updated successfully.
Any thoughts as to why this is happening?

I have looked at redwings link and it appears that has I feared MB does not support dlna. However I think I can do better than the Lindy wireless Dac as I had just seen the NAD DAC 1 on line for £99 down from £300! Anyone have experience of one of these.
