Hi

I would like to do something a bit special.
In many titles there is other information in brackets, for example: radio edit, mix, album version.
I would like to move that part to another field (tag).
I was able to move the text with this command: $Split($Split(<Title>,"(",2),")",1)
But then I can't delete it from the title tag.
Example: Stranger In Moscow (Tee's In-house Club Mix)
In the title tag must remain: 'Stranger In Moscow' while the remainder must be moved to a tag (Subtitle): Tee's In-house Club Mix.
Why this?
Often these subtitles are very long and I would like to display a few sizes less than the title to fit everything in one line.

I've noticed a change in the way I play songs sequentially.
Whichever way you set playback, this happens:
1) playback of all tracks from the same album
2) I move, while listening to the first album, to another without selecting anything.
3) once the song is playing, go to the first song of the album I was just looking at
4) plays the song and then stops
In practice, if you don't stay on the album being played you can't listen to it in its entirety.
I have MB version 3.6.8778
In the playback preferences I always left the following checked: clear list and play album only.
In fact, when I select the first song of the album in the playlist it puts all the songs from the album but when you go to another album it adds the first song to the queue, plays it and then stops.
In previous versions it doesn't seem to have this behavior.
Before saying it's a bug, I ask, does this seem normal to you?

I have created some collection albums using asx files.
When editing a tag, when you select multiple songs to edit at once, mb erases all references to the main song.
Basically delete this: <ref href="" />.
While everything else seems to remain in place.

I created an album of songs of which half of the songs were already present in the library.
To avoid having duplicates I created some asx files inserted in the album folder among the mp3 ones.
Everything OK. The song is performed from the actual one in mp3 but...
The <param name = "Custom 1" value = "exemple" /> command is not read. I also tried to put the name, subtitle aulbum, that I gave to that custom but nothing.
For the duration of the song you need to take the minutes, multiply by 60 and add the seconds. The obtained value must be inserted into <param name = "Length" value = "244000" /> and is found to be 4 minutes and 04 seconds.
It all becomes very difficult and time consuming to do.
It would be nice if starting from a song there was a command like: Create asx file. With the possibility of directly inserting new tags to identify another album.

An idea popped into my head, I don't know if it's easy to implement but I ask...
It often happens that a song appears in several compilations or anthologies of the artist.
There are songs that appear in the artist's first album and in several of his anthologies and also in collections by various artists.
It would be nice if music bee had multi position, like it does for multi artist.
In the end you would have a single file which however appears in different positions, how many bytes would you save?

Wouldn't it be more convenient to eliminate all the automation?
After all, for the images of artists you often find images that have nothing to do with the artist, not even remotely.
The biography is always in English and sometimes even here it is incorrect or cannot be found.
To search for biographies in my language I created a link in the internet preferences https://www.last.fm/it/music/<Artist>/+wiki and the biography is displayed in my language if present. But I always have to copy and paste it into the bio panel.
It happened to me that the image of the artist found was that of an industrialist of the same name as the artist searched for.
My request: can't all the automatic systems be removed?
And perhaps insert a button, a menu that by clicking it downloads the biography manually, as happens with the covers.
And while we're at it. Why is the artist image in the music explorer not linked to the image in the artist image panel?

I'm viewing Al Bano in the music explorer and in the multiple artists separator, when he performs with Romina I put Al Bano & Romina Power.
Only the discs in which Al Bano appears are displayed to me and not those in which he appears paired with Romina which, in my opinion, should be in the "Appears in ..." section
If in the multiple artists separator I divide the two artists, viewing Al Bano however puts them all together, both those he performed alone and those paired with Romina.
In summary: in the first case he creates three distinct artists. Viewing Al Bano or Romina Power I will not see those produced together.
In the second case the two artists are created by mixing all the albums produced together and not.
Is there a way that, if it only displays Al Bano, it will show me the albums produced together with Romina Power in "Appare In..."?

I have a problem with the artist image displaying.
For example: the Italian duo Wess & Dori Ghezzi. He visualizes Dori Ghezzi to me, instead I would like him to show an image of the duo.
In Edit sort value the first value is Dori Ghezzi, Wess and finally Wess & Dori Ghezzi. I thought this was the reason why when I play one of their songs it shows me Dori Ghezzi and I tried to change the order by putting the full name of the two first.
It's not possible to do that. Every time I save and reopen the editor it always comes back in alphabetical order.
However, sometimes he takes the first, sometimes the second and sometimes both.
Isn't there a way why it displays the singer you are viewing?

I realized that trimming the beginning/ending songs isn't always useful.
For example: a song should be cut at the beginning, because it has a particular beginning, only in a playlist but with a single listening you would like to hear it in full.
It would be nice to have a choice beside the two start/end setting fields that says: only in playlists.
By flagging it, those cuts will only be active in the playlists, in other cases always.

With a single field you could create a set of information that currently requires many virtual tags.

I have this error randomly. It's been happening since I updated to the latest version.


Giving OK, the following error appears
Giving ok on the error below the program hangs for a few seconds and then closes.
