Plugins / Re: Additional Tagging & Reporting Tools
« on: July 25, 2021, 05:28:20 AM »
Hello, I'm trying out ASR for the first time but maybe I'm missing something completely.  I want to find tracks with a certain phrase in their title and then add a track number to that track.

This doesn't seem to work.  Am I just way off here?  Is there any easier way to accomplish this?

Ah I didn't think to try a different line--it is definitely working for me now.  Yeah I'd say it's not worth breaking something else so I'll just use parenthesis from now on for the first line.  Thanks for your help!

Thats an oversight. I have made a change that addresses the issue and will post a link later

https://getmusicbee.com/patches/MusicBee34_Patched.zip
unzip and replace the existing musicbee application files

Thank you for the quick response!

Unfortunately, I replaced the existing files with your patch but it still doesn't seem to work.

Here is a screenshot of what my lyrics look like in editing mode:

Here is what they look like in synced mode:

As you can see, the [Verse 1] text still doesn't show up.

I'd have to have things like "Verse 1" in brackets with synced lyrics but when I do that, MB just ignores the text all together in synced mode.  Is there any work around?

Questions / Re: How to show subheadings on certain albums

I used this from someone else and it's been a minute so hopefully I didn't miss a step. Now each disc can have it's own subtitle that you have to set individually.

You need a new custom tag.
Under Tags (1) in preferences change custom 1 to "Set Subtitle"

Then click Define New Tags and put the following code in Virtual1.
Code
$If(<Disc Count>>1,$IsNull(<Set Subtitle>,"Disc "<Disc#>,<Set Subtitle>),$IsNull(<Set Subtitle>,,<Set Subtitle>))

Questions / Re: How can I stream KEXP radio on Musicbee?

Try this:  https://kexp-mp3-128.streamguys1.com/kexp128.mp3

Dug out using View Page Info/Media (Firefox browser) after a right-click on the player body.

That worked for me!
