Questions / Filter for albums missing replaygain?
« on: July 22, 2021, 03:36:06 PM »
I thought there was a way to filter for files missing replaygain, but I can't seem to find it. Any suggestions?

Basic tags, no genres, no playlists. Just artists and albums.

Could you please name the skin?

The base skin is Renoir but I changed all the colors.

Is this what you had in mind?

Background: nord3
Text:            nord4
Headers:      nord8
Highlight:      nord10

I haven't used the Aurora colours because I like the simplicity of the colours I chose. If you have any suggestions as to where you would like Aurora palette used I'll see what I can do.
How did you get that giant waveform seekbar at the top? Is that a plugin?

Is there a way to select an artist, then select an album?

When I select an artist, I just see a list of songs.

I tried going to album then searching for an artist to narrow it down, but that doesn't work either.

Yes it's only albums with cue sheets that are missing the zero.

Of course, all other files I tagged myself, and I always add leading zero in Mp3tag...

This is how it's set. I would expect a leading zero with these settings.

I like my single-digit track numbers to have a leading zero, but when a cue sheet is involved, MusicBee doesn't display the leading zero. How can I fix this?

Cue sheet excerpt:
FILE "Erik Truffaz - Saloua.ape" WAVE
    TITLE "Saloua"
    PERFORMER "Erik Truffaz"
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
    TITLE "Big Wheel"
    PERFORMER "Erik Truffaz"
    INDEX 01 05:08:40
    TITLE "Whispering"
    PERFORMER "Erik Truffaz"
    INDEX 01 10:57:05
    TITLE "Yabous"
    PERFORMER "Erik Truffaz"
    INDEX 01 16:05:18

Questions / Per-disc cover art
« on: July 28, 2020, 02:18:05 PM »
I have some box sets that have a different cover for each disc. Any tips for setting these up in MB?

Here's my setup. It would be awesome if I could keep the main box art intact, but to add each disc's art on the left in the track drop-down. Is this possible?

If not, what other options do I have? If you have this working, some screenshots would be appreciated. Thanks!

Questions / Re: Display album notes?

Thanks for the reply. I'll try using the lyrics panel for now. I only listen to instrumental music, so I don't imagine I'll need it for lyrics any time soon :)

I agree that the comment tag is a great place for this info, but I would like to display it on its own, not as part of the Track Information panel.

Questions / Display album notes?
« on: May 08, 2020, 02:32:27 PM »
I have notes for a lot of my albums stored in a notes.txt file in the album directory. It contains information about the album that doesn't fit in song tags.

Is there a way to display these notes in a panel? Maybe a plugin that can display the contents of the text file?
What if I added the notes to the comment tag of the audio files, could I display that someplace?
Or maybe I could use a lyrics panel to show this information?

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Skins / Re: XML skin - title bar color

An example what can happen when you use incorrect image sizes such as 5x5:
(and this is a configuration panel, not the main panel border that you may or may not care about)

I've seen this on the top-left corner of the main panel!

And you probably have set "WindowBorderWidth" to 0 or perhaps 1?
Then it will probably not display the errors that might result from using these incorrect sizes.

That setting wasn't in the XML file I'm modding, but adding it and setting it to zero fixes the above issue.

How did you end up with 5x5?

I noticed that the skin I'm working off of uses the same image for all 8 sections, so I decoded one and it was 5x5. I re-colored it to match my skin, ran it through pingo which cut the size in half, re-incoded it, then pasted the new code into the XML. Presto!

But yeah, it's just a solid color.
