New example. I put disc 1 of 1 on both. Tracks numbered as one disc. Maybe there are other ways, but this one works for me.

Use the work tag, and sort by that, for classical music it's better

You can use MP4Box (command line utility) or MP4Box GUI to move the aac fies into  mp4 container. The extension of the container file must be changed to .mp4 or better m4a.

Occasionally and randomly I have the same problem, even on newly added mp3 files to the library. I simply ignore it, because apparently everything is fine.

I have had the same problem in the past. I solved it by manually assigning the same name to the graphic to the playlist. (Playlistname.jpg)

But on my wife's pc, same configuration, MB plays the .mp4 files as audio files and does not open them inVLC. Very strange.

Tried now: MusicBee regularly opens my .mp4 files with VLC ( (both latest portable version).
One more thing: all my audio files in Windows are not associated with MusicBee but with Foobar. I don't know if it's important ...
