Questions / question about rating and tagging in 3.2.6756 ,just update from 3.1.6590

hi
i just update musicbee to version 3.2.6756

and i can rate and tag my songs

in the past it was a problem , to fix the problem i had to disable my antivirus -> my question about it in the forum


now with version 3.2.6756 i have no more issues , i can rate and tag

does Steven change the musicbee behavior ? i mean does musicbee write directly on the file without moving

The windows temp folder is used when recreating files as a result of tagging

?

or does musicbee use a different temp folder to recreating files as a result of tagging?

i have read the changelog but i have not find such informations

hi
i really love musicbee
with the days and i forum i started how configure , at the beginning was hard

well , i guess that volume analisys is replaygain (track+album) ,just like foobar but replaygain sounds weak or let the audio tracks sound weak

on foobar ,(i was used to play music with foobar) i have used these settings to play music with replaygain tag and loud without clipping



i have search and try to find preferences and option in musicbee to obtain the same result

may i ask a question?
is there a way to pre-amp audio tracks with replaygain without clipping like the foobar screenshot?
when i used foobar was the only settings to let all the tracks sound loud without clipping

hi
i have update my portable version from 3.1.6512 to 6585 using

the full download, including updates to skins and localisations

and i had problem with metadata , i haven't change files tags but with the new version many albums tags are gone

for example look before the update , hope the screenshots are not too big

i reverted back to the prev version

did somebody suffer of the same weird audio issue?

Questions / can musicbee in wasapi event mode bypass my audio card drivers resampler?

my audio drivers are setup to 24bit and 48k

most of my songs are in flac 16bit and 44.1k , others are are 48k (mosly mp3)

well musicbee is in wasapi mode, event enable and resample it's disabled

musicbee with this settings does bypass my realtek audiocard resampler ?

ps i have search a lot for this answer , looking for wasapi ,event & push mode, i found many information but nothing relating bypassing audio card drivers resampler

why do i get this error when i tried to tag my songs?



accesso negato means access denied


but the song is located here


i have tried to tools -> tagging tools -> auto-tag  by track -> update using lasf.fm tag cloud

and i have tried to click on the song -> edit

this happen all audio format ,mp3 ,itunes mp4 and flac

the only way seems i need to uninstall my antivirus
windows 10 pro 64bit

maybe Steven could fix it ,for the new year

Questions / backup musicbee settings and disable lasf.fm log?

to backup musicbee is enough backup only these 2 files?
MusicBee3Settings.ini
MusicBeeLibrarySettings.ini

or do i need to backup other files?


and i have last.fm enabled and musicbee continue to write a long log , can i avoid this log

i have tried in the past aimp4 and media monkey , both can play in wasapi without preclude the other application to use the audio


could be done with musicbee?
or is a limit of musicbee?

if yes ,cold i add in the whishlist?

Questions / help me with same albums with several different format

i have bought an album

and i have ripped in flac , after i convert on mp4 for my phone and mp3 for my car stereo

ok i have now on my computer the same album in flac/mp4 & mp3

ok i can delete the mp4 and mp3 files

but that's not the point , outside smart playlist are there some tips to help me to browse my music ->artist->album->year and extension

i use these layouts

MusicBee Wishlist / temp folder & realtime volume analysis to boost the volume

1)
i would love to have a temp folder settings
i really love musicbee , some days ago i tried to convert some files to wave and in flac ,i got severals errors under w10
after i have tried under w7 and it works perfectly

the last windows update october ,reset almost every settings i had tweaked and re-enable fastboot dangerous

well windows defender protects some folder , and that's the reason to i was not able to convert files
seeing every month a new version of windows  10 come out
why don't add the possibility to set a temp folder (for example D:\temp folder) so we can avoid future issues with future w10 update

2) is hard to add a realtime volume analysis like aimp 4 , so all the songs will sound loud ?
about replaygain is great , but we should scan all the songs and they sound more weak

may i ask  3 questions?

1) how can i have the most loud volume for each tracks ? replaygain makes them sound week


2) what sound engine does musicbee use ? it's like foobar or mediamonkey or aimp sound engine? (just because it souds different compared to media monkey or aimp 4


3) aimp 4 has a great feature , it calculate the highest volume without clipping in real time , could be added in the next future version?
