Had the same problem too and fixed the spelling problem so far.
You can read it here:
https://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=26244.msg149153#msg149153

But there are still issues. There are some Songs with currect and non-exciting spelling, that still won‘t sync.

Bug Reports / Re: Small bug with 'ignore tracks less than' setting
« on: October 28, 2023, 10:42:07 PM »
i can't reproduce this using v3.5 or v3.6 with both the manual file scanner and via monitored folders. Was continuous monitoring enabled? In which case the file is being added ignoring the size filter, so i can fix that

Hi, Steven.
I used last version before 3.5.8698, when it worked fine. With reinstalling my OS I installed 3.5.8698. Then it happened, that 0-byte files were send to inbox and shown as corrupted (what they are). I can delete them from inbox, but they will be reimported at next scan. I don‘t use monitored folders yet.

Bug Reports / „Ignore files less…“ malfunction
« on: October 28, 2023, 04:46:47 PM »
I opened already a thread in „Questions“ but it seems like a bug. Sorry, I don‘t know, how moving topic to bugs report.

I had/have a Musicbee database before I ruined my system, which I backed up. I have some FLAC & MP3 files, which was imported to database. I made those files to 0-byte files and kicked them out of library. I need to keep the files with their original filenames and endings, but don’t wan’t them in my library. When I scanned my HDD for new files with old setup and „Ignore files less…“ checked, they weren‘t reimported to library (cause 0-byte) and it worked as it should for my preferences. After reinstalling WIN11 and Musicbee and restore my library backup, Musicbee sends all those 0-bytes again to Inbox. But I still wan‘t them ignored, but it doesn’t work. New 0-bytes are ignored fine as they should, but old files will be reimported 🤷🏻‍♂️

I use latest Musicbee release.

Hi Hiccup, thanks for joining my thread.
Maybe I should start from the beginning. Sorry, English isn‘t my native language, but I hope you understand what I mean.

Maybe it thread should be moved to bug reports, cause I don’t think, that it should work this way…

Questions / Import problem
« on: October 27, 2023, 09:11:55 AM »
Hi, I‘ve a question. Maybe it‘s a bug.
Yesterday, I had to reinstall my Windows 11 and also Musicbee. For some reasons, need to have a few „fake“ FLAC & MP3‘s with 0-byte on my HDD. I checked the „ignore tracks less…“ option and files were ignored as they should till yesterday. I still have it checked, but now Musicbee always recognize them, imports them and send them to the inbox. I‘ve version 3.5.8698 installed, I think before I had the previously released version. Could it be a bug or is something wrong with my setup?

Best regards

Portable Devices / Re: PC/Android two-way sync of Ratings
« on: June 19, 2023, 04:18:15 PM »
After too many disappointing moments with wifi syncing, I found another solution for me. I sync directly to SD card. Use Musicolet music player. Create playlists for ratings (1 star, 2 stars e.g.). within Musicolet and store songs into them. I export playlists, import them into Musicbee and change ratings as playlist name. No perfect solution, but good enough to sync ratings without lot of work or getting errors. If someone is interested, but don’t know how, I can make a manual for it.

Plugins / Re: Additional Tagging & Reporting Tools
« on: April 07, 2023, 06:37:01 PM »
Hi,
since yesterday I got a little problem with additional tagging tools. I have a template which copied some tags like artist, genre i.e. and also rating tag.
It worked very well till yesterday. All ratings copied fine, but rating tag. I can do what I want, but it makes always a 3-star rating. Has anyone a solution?

Best regards

Nobody can help you, cause it doesn’t work.
2-way sync is only possible with Wifi, but just partial.

MusicBee Wishlist / Only convert lossless

Hi,
couldn‘t be an option for converter be implemented, that only lossless will be converted and others be copied? As in synch options.

Thanks for help phred, but doesn’t work for me with separated folders. My template works also, but only when I don‘t use folder separator.

Hi, thanks for answers.
Here are my settings:

And here the result:

My car audio just likes 1000 files per folder and doesn't like some special symbols.
That's the reason why I have to rename. The only possibility for me is using the "send to" option.
But it's a bit laborious, cause I've to delete folder contents first as I have dynamic autoplaylists,
which sorts out songs and sync would do this automatically. But when it's not a bug and there's no workaround I've to live with it.

best regards
