Sorry for bumping, but I wish to see this too.

General Discussions / Re: Official MB appreciation thread
« on: September 08, 2016, 08:47:50 AM »
I too have been using WMP12 for years (With WMP+ and Tag Plus) since there was nothing like it. Nothing could replace the god-tier album art view and the way it handled stuff, but since MS has been neglecting it and not fixing some very obvious bugs and adding missing features I was trying to look for an alternative. I tried all music players I could find, but none of them could even come close to functionality I came to expect from WMP.

Then I found this player. I admit I was overwhelmed at first since WMP was mostly "plug-n-play" so to speak. I downloaded the portable version and tinkered with it until I got what I needed which took some time indeed as the default layout seemed too foobar-ish which isn't what I wanted at all. But in the end I managed to tune it to my flow I was used to over the years.

I am glad this player exists and even more that new features still come(oh man module music support is something I wanted for so long since I have some old-ass obscure game music in MOD/XM)
Thank you for making this and maintaining it. It's much appreciated.

Skins / Re: Source files for the bundled skins?

Hmm it appears you are right. There is indeed source here. I didn't know that bundled skins are made by users.

I am aware, but there has to be source somewhere as they seem to be compiled with that Skin tool.

Skins / Source files for the bundled skins?

I wanted to do some small edits to WMP12.xmlc, but as far as I can tell it's compiled. Is the source available somewhere?

Questions / Re: Specific MP3 audio files are just noise

I think that's how the game's files are. They have .wav extension, but are actually MP3 files in disguise.

The files still have some hashes as they did before. I don't think they are corrupted if they work perfectly in WMP12

If you think so  :o

For some reason only WMP can play them properly. Not even VLC. Oddity for sure. It's old game-rip I had for ages.
Here's sample file

EDIT: It should be mentioned that the ones I uploaded to Google Play Music (and redownloaded just now) are fine so I'm not sure what is up with the original files or what Google did to "fix" them. Broken header or something? IDK. Either way WMP ignores it or something.

MusicBee Wishlist / Native scrollbars option
« on: August 31, 2016, 12:29:57 PM »
There already is option for native title bar. I'd like the same for the scroll bar.

Features such as:
Removing the text(track name etc.) in case you have those in title bar already
Different alignment of elements (for example: controls on right, ratings on left etc.)
Hiding the Last.fm button
Forcing the skin to display Stop button regardless of its setting
Tooltip for volume control

EDIT. Yes I am aware some of this is controlled by skin, but overriding it shouldn't be a problem.

Sorry for bumping , but this just doesn't work. Not to mention the above reply makes no sense. MB is 32-bit program and can't use x64 DLLs at all.

Please do this!

Oh thank you. That is exactly what I want!
