Just wondering if the "Main Player Panel" use modern layout > wave bar, is adjustable yet?

I found out how to adjust it in the Now Playing menu (edit > preferences > now playing panel > configure panel > at the very top check show wave bar, show in panel (bottom), just to the right of that you can enter how large you want the wavebar in pixels)

but that is very thin in width, it would be much nicer if you could adjust the one at the bottom so you can see it throughout the whole screen

Hey, i want to make use of your "TOY: 'Copy tag' command" command to copy "play count" into a custom field, ie "www radio", but im having a problem, in case of emergencies say i remove a file, or rename it, the musicbee library will reset its playcount and will copy the new tag of 0, which would delete all the previous play counts, is there anyway to use this TOY: 'Copy tag' command with an IF statement? so for example, say i delete an audio file from the library, rename it, import it back in, the www radio tag has say 53, play count in musicbee library has 0, but if the www radio tag value is higher, it copies it back to the play count tag, and continues updating the musicbee library tag, when a track is played 50% it increases by 1, and also updates the www radio tag as well

ok i figured out why it reset, its because i changed my whole library structure filenaming format, before it was

artist-album-track#-title
now its
artist (folder) > album (folder) > track#-title

so clearly it was the file naming that made musicbee loose the play count

now im wondering, is there anyway to browse the musicbee library with a spreadsheet through all its records?

yup i have both, 2.4 portable versioninstalled, and 3.0 portable version installed, i tried click and dragging the wave bar at bottom but i couldnt seem to make a handle appear to drag anything at all, i could right  click and use the "larger waveform" or something like that, but i cant drag anything

thats odd i installed and tried it, but it seems to be the exact same size as 2.4, am i missing something? it is not click and draggable either

Hey guys, im trying to set up a sync of play counts, so at the moment i set this up:

my "Custom Tag 3" say is manually entered as 12000, it automatically changes the musicbee library "Play Count" tag to the same ammount, now i want musicbee to syncronise back, like, when a file is played more than 50% the "Play Count" from musicbee library increases by one and (ONLY IF THE NUMBER IS HIGHER) synchronises to the "Custom Tag 3",

is this possible? or do i have to reverse copy and paste method to "Play Count" (musicbee library tag) to "Custom Tag 3"

how simple is it to upgrade? because i want to keep my library and all my configurations?

also this is a portable install so its installed in a folder on my external hdd

if you restore the backup to a different location and after opening the library at the new location you can set "export iTunes xml file".
on exit and restart, open the current library and then from the main menu: File/ Library/ Import/ Import from iTunes and select the iTunes xml file
select overwrite rating and playcounts

Yeah, I thought that way first as it's easier and safer. But the OP wanted "just the playcount but nothing else", so I didn't offer it.

so should i do it this way and just not check rating?

at the bottom is there anyway to increase the waveform, i went through the menus as thoroghly as i could searching but i cant find anything, this is on a 4k monitor btw, i would love it taller

i actually have multiple backups indeed, but do you have any idea how they may have gotten reset by themselves?

and how do i recover JUST THE PLAYCOUNT from a backup library

Hey guys, i have had my library for around 10 years now (migrated from wmp and itunes from one to another at a point), been using musicbee for past two years, and around a month ago i just noticed that the play counts reset itself, the library has been in the same folder as always untouched, would be great if someone could point me in the right direction as to how to recover the play count
