Bug Reports / Unexpected error in 2.5.5804
« on: December 02, 2015, 06:16:53 PM »
Auto DJ had stopped adding new tracks, and when I tried stopping and starting it it wouldn't start, with this error. Functionality was restored by restarting MusicBee, although when I closed it to restart it it said it was unable to save the Now Playing playlist, because Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

MusicBee v2.5.5804.26036 (Win10.0), 2 Dec 2015 18:11:

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I'm on 2.5.5721 and what I've been noticing for some time is that although I have 'continuously monitor' selected AutoDJ will still pick filenames that have been moved/renamed/deleted days ago (with an AutoDJ list generated/started much more recently). Sounds like the same issue, but as I mainly use AutoDJ to play completely random tracks from my library I wouldn't notice that none of the tracks were ones I added since the last manual scan.

ETA: Part of the feature is working, as I sometimes notice "Monitored folders: 11 files updated" and the like.

Questions / Re: How do I improve Artist Picture Accuracy?

Ban picture appears greyed out for me in the right-click menu, so I can't use it, any idea why that is?

I have exactly the same problem which I posted here. Got no answer about it.

I did notice one time I looked since then that it wasn't greyed out, but it wasn't a picture that I wanted to ban :D

My problems aren't even artists with the same name as such - I don't want to look at Fall Out Boy when I'm listening to The Fall, I don't want to look at Pearl Jam when I'm listening to The Jam  - and I can't work out why when I listen to Can it likes to show me a picture of Norman Cook :D
