MB v3.0.5890
Preferences - Hotkeys
If I delete a hotkey assigned to an action, the keystroke remains displayed in the list. Click on something in the list and then click on the action where the hotkey was deleted and the keystroke disappears next to the action. The keystroke should disappear upon deleting the hotkey.

I know I've setup Highlighting in the past and I've looked and looked but I can't find it.  It's probably right in front of me (wouldn't be the first time).  Hint somebody?...thanks.

What about implementing tooltips over panel headers that give the corresponding name of the panel as it's referenced in Panels Configuration. Also assign a keystroke (like Ctrl-N) for Arrange Panels and include that in the tooltip.

tooltip:
This is the "Left Sidebar panel - Stacked"
Press Ctrl+N to customize the layout of the panels.

or something like that.

Request (on the subject); to Display information from "Status bar" as shown below:
I think it's more convenient, logical and Can completely get rid of the "Status bar".
However that's the space where the horizontal A-Z bar appears. Also where would you relocate the panel buttons (to open/close sidebar panels)? It takes up a tiny amount of vertical space but it's a clean look (imo) compared to jamming those items elsewhere.

the better way would be first draw the graphics and save it to memory as a bitmap, and then simply scale it along the y axis whenever the window resizes, instead of re-reading the song for the waveinfo.
I think the programming technique would be to suspend repainting of the control until resizing is completed and then let the repaint of the control take place.

Also consider adding "Arrange Panels" command under View main menu. If I were a new user, that'd be the first place I would check.
Yes, I think this is logical.
+1 but instead placed in Edit menu under Preferences (it's like an extension of Preferences)

For v3, if you change it so MB does jump to the track, please add an option to be able to disable this feature, otherwise we will no more be able to browse/edit/manage our library freely during play (it will constantly jump at each song change).
I think the actual implementation is consistent:
- "coloring track" doesn't jump to the track
- "selecting track" jumps to the track (the same thing if we use the up/down keys to change selection: it jumps to the selection => this is a good design)
yes i agree and you reminded me why it was done the way it was
very good, very good...got me scared there for a moment the main panel was going to be jumping all around lol...having the option -excellent!

When clicking in the header for the "play" column, it generates an error. In v2.5 it was used to select all tracks.

MusicBee v3.0.5873.35247 (Win6.3), 31 janv. 2016 1:26:

I happened to try the "select all" button and it selected all the files in Playing Tracks or in Tracks without any trouble.  That's when I was using the version from the 25th I believe.  Upon updating to version 3.0.5873 it's not working now.

I casually mentioned this a few days ago...still related with Send To | Folder (Copy) | Copy Files to Folder. When copied, why is each filename prefixed with a number?  Filenames should not be changed without user input.  If I want to copy files into a different folder, the number assigned to each file isn't necessarily the same with each copy and so future copies don't match up with the same files resulting in a mess.  Maybe prompt user about the prefix?

Qualifier...I right-click on a playlist, the list of files change to the content list of the playlist but nothing in the file list is selected. "Copy Files to Organised Folder" still complains about nothing selected but again if nothing selected, assumption should be entire playlist (which is the behavior with "Copy Files to Folder").
thats fixed for the next v3 update
Just to confirm...right-click on playlist in left-sidebar and pick Send To | Folder (Copy) to automatically include the full list of files from the playlist OR make your selection in the file list and right-click on the selection to include just the selected files.

Awesome!!  Thanks Steven.

I realize that but my point is that when using "Copy Files to Folder", MB makes the selection automatically from the playlist and doesn't complain that I didn't select any files.  Seems "Copy Files to Organised Folder" would have the same behavior for consistency.  It's also very intuitive that if I don't select files, I want the entire playlist involved.
the next v3 update should handle right clicking on playlists in the left navigator better

I guess where i will leave this from my side is to make a commitment to revisit it after v3 is done and more use feedback has been given around issues with the current dialog
+1
Changing course now unless Steven deems this "simple" can be detrimental.  Can't imagine it's simple.  Better to take time and have some good brainstorming and then tackle it once the current goal of v3.0 is achieved imho.

btw, nice improvement showing tooltip over info glyph of available elements and no longer requiring click to make tooltip disappear.

-I feel the "playing tracks", as an element, should be called "playing tracks list" -it's just less confusing in my opinion. It is called 'now playing list' in [Preferences>Now Playing], (settings for this element are located here) and I think it should be called 'playing tracks list' here as well, for the sake of consistancy. Also in the 'elements' list in [Preferences>Panels Configuration] it should be called 'playing tracks list. I just feel consistancy in naming is important for learning and ease of navigation.
yes i agree

The verbiage should be whatever is informative but I believe it's very important (especially for new users) for labels to match and be consistent. If not, it can be difficult at times to know if you're in the right spot or not.

v3.0.5865
If I choose Copy Files to Organised Folder I get the message "No selected files" though the main panel list of tracks changes according to the selected playlist.  This should proceed without having to manually select files right?
Files need to be selected so MB knows what to copy.

Thanks for the heads up on Customize buttons.  Never paid much attention.
