Questions / Re: Tagging All my Music
« on: February 12, 2014, 03:06:53 PM »
I Prefer MP3Tag over the musicbee tag editor. I only use the musicbee tag editor for smaller problems, but it's still pretty damn good.

Questions / Sort albums by year..that are in the same year?
« on: February 12, 2014, 02:55:19 PM »
I sort my albums by year to show them in chronological order, but  there's a problem with that
For example, steppenwolf's first and second album were released in the same year.
however, the second one comes up first.
Is there any way to sort it correctly?

MusicBee Wishlist / Compact Player. Customize Search window.
« on: February 10, 2014, 04:25:20 PM »
When you go to the compact player you can click a search Icon to search for things in your library.
However, that part is not customizable in any way. My main gripe with it is that I can't sort the albums  by year.
My other main gripe is that you can't make it show album artwork.
If these two things would happen, I think I'd actually use the feature more often.

MusicBee Wishlist / Rateyourmusic intergration.
« on: February 08, 2014, 10:45:21 AM »
I was surprised when I saw this Musicplayer has built in Lastfm Intergration.
What would be awesome is if it also had Rateyourmusic intergration.
Like, you could tick to automaicly add albums to your rym collection, you could sync the RYM ratings to your Library and every rate you do in Musicbee will get onto RYM.

I'm not sure if it's possible, but it would be awesome.

MusicBee Wishlist / Re: Matching images for soundtracks

Yes! this sounds like a nice feature to have. I have a seperate library for game soundtracks :3

In winamp classicpro, the album details are on the bottom at default. It looks like this http://puu.sh/6Fj5J
you can achieve this in musicbee by turning ''Show playing track panel on bottom pane'' under main player.
however, it would be nice if you had the option to make it go through the left panel(about where the artist picture is now) just like in winamp classic pro 2 (aluminium).

General Discussions / Re: Official MB appreciation thread
« on: January 28, 2014, 05:29:18 PM »
Previously I was using Winamp with the plugin/skin Classicpro2(Aluminium), which greatly improves the big bento skin on wimamp.
The biggest changes were tabs and a sidebar.
I heard Winamp is stopping soon, so I checked out some alternatives just to see if one is better.

I tried Windows Media Player before Winamp, it sucked.
I tried Itunes After, it sucked.
VLC as a music player? Are you kidding me?Video:Yes. Music:No.
Than I tried Foobar2000. It was the ugliest player I've ever seen. Customizing it was confusing as hell.
To not make it ugly I wanted to install a good looking skin. Every good looking skin needed a shitload of plugins that all had seperate downloads. Sometimes I could not find the plugins, sometimes I could but whenever I was done installing it always resulted in a crash or a barely working foobar. Also, most of the useful features were plugins. I also still preferred Winamps layout.
By now I was looking for a player that supported multiple genre tags. So i tried Mediamonkey, which I didn't like at all

But than I found musicbee. At first it was confusing and I found winamps layout better.
Than I clicked around and found out it was very customizable. After a while it became a lot easier to use.
It took a while, but I had finally set it up the way I wanted it.
Everytime I clicked around I discovered more and more awesome features, even though the thing itself is very lightweight.
The multiple libraries, the seperation for audiobooks and podcasts, the tabs/now playing sidebar, the intergrated video, browser, etc, The tags information, the editor, the inbox, the converter ,the customization, the lyrics, the compact player, the last-fm intergration, etc.
There are a few minor issues I have, but aside from those it's  the best music player I've used.
It's a fucking awesome music player, and best of all: It's free!

Thank you :D

Plugins / Re: MusicBee Remote (Remote Control for Android)
« on: January 28, 2014, 04:38:28 PM »
Hello, I´m trying to use this App.
However, my phone´s resolution is pretty small. Because of this a lot of song titles don´t fit on the screen(and they cover the album art aswell)
First of all if the song title was placed differently some might fit like it does on my poweramp. however, the problem is that titles that don´t fit don´t scroll. it would be nice if it scrolled so I can know what song I´m listening to.
Or maybe even a button to see song details, which would display the full title(like I do in poweramp). if Poweramp can display everything on the small resolution, this app probably could aswell, but I think just making the song title scroll would be much easier to implement.
I can see that the app pretty basic so far, but the fact that this even exists is amazing ^.^.

Plugins / Re: LyricsReloaded

I know this thread is old, but...Will DarkLyrics ever get supported?
Plyrics and AZlyrics are supported, but Darklyrics is not there yet.

also, it can't find a lot of songs that are on plyrics even though it's on top of my priority list and the song name is exactly the same.
it even pops up as the first when I right click and do a google search :/.
