Bug Reports / AIFF files show wrong time duration
« on: December 16, 2019, 11:08:51 PM »

MusicBee 3.3.7261 Windows 10 64-bit
Aiff files above 44.1khz , display the lengths of each track as double or more than what they really are.

The run time of this album is 96/24 and runs 66:31, but musicbee is showing 144:48 because of the tracks lengths are greater than they actually are. Files at 44.1khz are displayed correctly.

Questions / Is anyone having trouble Ripping CDs?
« on: December 12, 2016, 05:10:44 AM »
I'm using version 3.0.6188
There is a click or pop noise at the end of very track I rip on every CD. I'm using the Secure Rip option with Accurate Rip. Each track says "accurately ripped". I made sure that the gaps are removed.  But each track is getting clicks at the very end.

To eliminate my CDs or CD drive, I tried ripping the same CDs with Foobar2000 using the same options, and each track is ripped properly.
I don't often rip with MusicBee, so I don't know what exact version the problem started. All I can say is that I never experienced this problem with MusicBee before this version this current version.

Questions / Memory Playback?
« on: August 14, 2016, 07:44:53 PM »
Does MusicBee do Memory Playback? So it loads the full music file into RAM and then plays directly from there, minimizing hard drive activity supposidly for better performance.

Questions / A question about the conversion process of DSD.
« on: February 02, 2015, 08:20:54 PM »
When Resample to 96khz is selected in the Audio Player settings, does the conversion of DSD to PCM resample first to 88.2khz and then resample again to 96khz? Or does the conversion resample straight from DSD to 96khz? ???

MusicBee Wishlist / Tag Comments and Sample Rate support
« on: February 01, 2015, 03:35:32 PM »
1. I would like an option for MusicBee to display the comments with in a ID Tag., In the "View Configuration/Playing Track/Displayed Tabs" section there plenty of room for more options.

2. Please add support for resampling to 88.2 khz & 176.4 khz, Also allow a choice between playback of DSD files at 88.2, 176.4 and (352.4 kHz with a 90khz frequency cut off) for PCM conversions.

3. Just a few more  attempts at native DSD playback   :D

Thanks!

Portable Devices / "Monitored Files" on USB Flash Drive is not working
« on: February 01, 2015, 03:18:39 PM »
I've started using the portable  MusicBee (2.5.5491) a few weeks ago. I installed it along with my music collection on a  256GB USB Flash drive and I'm running Windows 7. I've noticed that when I try to configure MusicBee to monitor a folder, it does not detect the external USB drive that it's installed on but only the local drives on the PC. So this means anytime I add music to the Music folder on the USB drive I have to manually make MusicBee rescan that folder to find the new Music.

Questions / How do I improve Artist Picture Accuracy?
« on: January 26, 2014, 06:18:08 AM »
I've currently had my MusicBee set up with the details at the bottom panel. It shows the album art on the left and rotates through pictures of the artist on the right. This has never been perfect, but I notice with the last couple of updates up to 2.3.5133 many of the songs show the wrong artist, most of them I have no idea who they are. And its not just one or two photos, but some times around 8 or more. I'm not sure if its just one server source for artwork doing this, or MusicBee searches for partial names instead of full names before returning results.
Also can I configure MusicBee to only show the artist photo of the Album Artist, and not Artist and Composer by default?
