Questions / Re: Bookmarking sections of a file
« on: March 16, 2017, 07:34:03 PM »
I somehow removed by mistake an "End" column in bookmarks, but I can't get it back now.
There isn't on the list of columns.

How to get it back and restrict it so I could not remove it in the future? (be it Comment, Start or End Column)

You mean like this?

Just activate the "Bookmarks" node in Preferences.

Wow, great!

Thanks!

Questions / Bookmarking sections of a file
« on: March 16, 2017, 05:33:27 PM »
Hello guys,
Is there a way to bookmark section of a file in a list or something like that.
For example, I have a file that's 4 hours long (actually it is audiobook), it's quite difficult to start certain section of a file (for example. chapter no.4 or so) with slider. So, I think it might be easy to bookmark that section and give it a name and a start point (or maybe an end point also) and it would be easy to jump to that bookmark without using the slider.
Second thing that I think would be useful is for analyzing sections of a song. (for example: verse1 starts from 00:00 ends at 00:40, chorus starts at 00:40 to 01:10...). Some songs that I have are about 30 minutes long and over.

Maybe it's too much, but I find this somewhat helpful.

Thanks!
Brx

I think that the sound is enhanced in this version, which is a good thing, sounds fresh or I'm overreacting... :)
Btw, drag n drop is not working anymore or I'm missing something...

1) Double click on an album (if the album has more than one track) - that album is added to the playlist, everything is ok
2) Double click on an album (if the album has only one track) - everything is added to the playlist

I have found this bug. (I think this action was working in previous versions of MB).
1)Press CTRL+A (select all)
2)Now exclude some albums by pressing CTRL and click on the album art, but nothing happens.

A right click on the "play/pause" button used to open the context menu and didn't cause the music to pause/play. This behaviour has changed since about a month ago, is this intentional? Now the context menu will pop-up but music will also be paused or resumed, not what one would expect.

+1

Same as on clicking on next and previous buttons.

I've found this small issue.
1) Click on rating near the player controls (below).
2) The rating in the playlist doesn't update.
3) It shows properly on selecting an item in the playlist.

I've found 2 bugs:
1) Right click on Now Playing tab, right sidebar, change style. http://giphy.com/gifs/3osxY7K4Zx08B1qZXy/tile
2) Something strange happens when changing styles of the now playing playlist. http://giphy.com/gifs/l2R03Wad5DpExhOgg/tile
the first is fixed for the next update
for the 2nd i cant reproduce. Firstly could you try using the very latest version (yours is 2 days old) just in case it was already fixed, and if not then send me your settings (help/ support/ view settings)

It's ok now (v3.0.5921), Steven, thanks! :)

Questions / Re: How to not allow MB to alter music files
« on: October 27, 2015, 07:35:55 AM »
Hi! (y)

I have a lot of files whose information I don't want to change.
This is what I'm also thinking of, it would be great to have an option that will permanently (or temporarily) disable changing info of files.
But it would change the information in a database (if that is possible) and use that information as proper info of those files.

Thanks! :)

Questions / Re: Rescan album art option
« on: October 11, 2014, 08:33:57 AM »
in the Tags(1) artwork preferences, if you open the dialog using the artwork retrieval filter button there is a rescan button

Yes, but I don't want to rescan all album arts in my library because it's huge, only particular ones.
