Plugins / Re: LyricsReloaded (Latest)

So I just came across this extension and like to try it out.. So i followed the readme in the .zip. installed the plugin fine.
But cant seem to find the "...\MusicBee\AppData\mb_LyricsReloaded\providers" folder ??
Someone willing to explain to me were to find this?

You're trying to use MB as a media player, via File Explorer, rather than running MB as an application, right?

To be honeset I use it both ways, I have all my vinyl, cd, tapes and other music ripped and use it with MB as the application. So with a big libary on my PC ( and backup on NAS) this works great.

I'm not sure which method you're saying works, and which doesn't.

It's more usual to run MB as an application, and add tracks to the playlist, or use auto-playlusts, or auto-dj

I do search the www a lot to find other music I like and download that onto the nas server on a separate shared directory, and listen to that if I like it, if its a decant rip etc, and before I ad the tags Cover picture etc and upload this to the MB library directory.
This I always did with: right click the directory and let it play through MB. But now a days it wont load the files anymore in to MB.

Hopefully I made my self clear this time around..

Hi All,

Maybe someone got a clue how to solve this..

If I right click on a music file on my nas server it wont play in MB. MB opens up but cant seem to find the file.
I have added the dir on my nas as a shared network file and in computer at the left it shows up fine, also if I chose the file that way it plays fine also.

I tried it with VLC and than it works fine, so I think it is not a rights thingy...

Any help would be fine I am lost here..

By default a single click expands the album tracks, so i dont get why anyone would additionally need the ability to double click to acheive the same.
And if you disable showing the tracks on a single click, then the option to double click to show the album tracks is still there

Well for me personally the single click was really for playing purposes. To open an album and select tracks, or see how far into the album I was . Also just the nicety of seeing the album art more largely in a coloured preview pane.

I used the 'album and artists' view for editing purposes, usually in my inbox, to 'auto tag by album' and such (especially since it sometimes didn't work in the main view). In fact, the reason I just recognised this had been removed was that I couldn't select 'auto tag by album' from the expanded panel view. I've since taken the advice you gave above, removing the expanded panel and instead using double click > album and artists, and it worked.

My preview settings were also very simple, track names, times, and thats it. The album and artists view I had a lot more detail in columns such as bitrate, file location, etc.

Exactly what I was doing the elegant way was to show me witch song I want to play.. and the double click was for opening the album with lots more detail about the songs...

Oke found the settings steven mentioned Thanks psychoadept...

But its still not the way I want it to be  and how I did have it in my old version...

I had it like:
Clik  on an album its expand.... and looking cool  

And double click,show album details

So this isn't possible any more?

untick "show tracks for the selected album" and then tick "show tracks when an album is double clicked"

Steven I am very sorry and feeling like stupid right now, But I really cant seem to find those entries anywhere??
Probably I am overlooking it but please give me a clue were to do it..

I checked the preference file 2 over and  looked at the arrange panel tab but really i am missing it..?

Hi all,

I have started over from scratch and installed latest version 3.1.6454.
I always have had in the old version behaviour of album covers set to: double click open op the album.

Code

Edit> Preferences>Layout(1)>Main Panel: Configure Views > Artwork >When an album picture is double clicked: play album

And uncheck it to open up album details like:

But I really cant seem to find this setting any-more?

Is this gone in new version?

Could some one point me to the place to set this up?

- fixed clrl-click to unselect a selected track
- "show album contents" now supported as an option when a picture is double clicked ie. when that option is selected you can see the expanded panel by clicking on a picture and double clicking would drill down and show the album using Album and Tracks layout

Yes I know, but I was hoping that I could use the new layout and use double click.
So One click I am getting the new layout and when I double click I am getting album details....

If this is not possible, just  my thoughts about new feature to give us a option to choose witch details to show up in the new layout. I for one am missing the genre and the bitrate.....

Double-clicking now always opens new expanded view and starts album playing.

My problem is solved.....

I really don't know what the problem was, but at last I reinstalled my complete windows 8 system, and installed everything again from fresh start and all is oke now...

All programs used have the same volume now..
