This is a pet peeve of mine as well. Personally, I would prefer it to appear as 2 columns of 2 tracks, so a choice between 2x2 or one column of four tracks would be cool. Either would be better than one column of three and an extra track hanging out by itself though.

P.S. This behavior occurs on all albums in this view, whether they are multi-disc or single disc (as long as the window isn't very narrow causing everything to become 1 column).

Did this ever get added? I'm using the wide layout of the mini player, and the title doesn't scroll. If it's not a bug, then I second this.

Bug Reports / Remove All Tags Error on Opus Files

Hello. I am receiving this error whenever I try to "remove all tags" from Opus files:

MusicBee v3.4.7805.33439D  (Win10.0), 30 Dec 2022 0:14:

The remove all tags function works fine when I do it on FLAC or MP3 files.

Oh, and I am using Musicbee 3.4 in case that makes a difference.

TheaterMode / Re: TM Requests
« on: December 09, 2022, 09:49:52 PM »
Just to be clear, and to reiterate what I said in the other thread about this:
I am under the impression that currently Theater Mode coding does not allow for keeping aspect ratios for album art. (it does for artist 'gallery' images)

If I am right about this, the request here should be to have that feature added to the toolbox for creating TM's.
Then the next step would be for you (or somebody else) to create or edit a TM that uses this feature.

Yes, thank you for this clarification. As I said in the other thread, I would be willing to learn myself how to make a theater mode if that feature got implemented.

TheaterMode / Re: TM Requests
« on: December 09, 2022, 03:17:58 AM »
Is it possible to add a theater mode which shows album art of varying dimensions at their maximum size, with a very minimal overlay (pause/play/skip/back buttons at most) or no overlay at all? Basically, a full-screen mode for album art.

A visual explanation of what I mean is that a square image would appear like this:

A 1920x1080 image would appear like this:

Essentially, the cover art would fill as much of the screen as possible for its dimensions. I made a post asking if this was currently doable, and it seems it is not so hiccup recommended I put in a request here.

I am guessing that would take a very inventive and creative solution.
(I gave it some shots, but haven't been able to come up with something)

The best bet would probably be to raise this as a request, and hope it gets rewarded/implemented.

Do you have any suggestions before I make such a post? I am new to these forums and don't want to step wrong!

Thanks for the information. I think I heard about the artist pictures working like that, because I saw a thread of people discussing aspect ratios for slideshows. I too hope there is some kind of workaround for album covers though.

Questions / Full Screen Artwork of Varying Dimensions
« on: December 03, 2022, 06:24:22 PM »
I've been trying for quite a while to find a solution to this, and perhaps it doesn't exist, but I figured I'd ask here. What I'm trying to do is to have Musicbee display the assigned album artwork at complete full screen dimensions (1920x1080). Here are some examples of how I would like it to look ideally. If the image is square it would look like this:

If the image is a full-screen (1920x1080) image, it would look like this:

Basically, I want the album artwork filling as much of the screen as possible for whatever dimensions it has. I don't even need basic controls overlaid if that's more difficult as I know hotkeys fairly well. If it is possible to do this with a minimal overlay though, that would be cool too. I'm aware of the various theater modes and the large album artwork option in the now playing menu. If there is a theater mode that does this that I missed please suggest it, but otherwise none of these are what I'm looking for. I am willing to learn some coding if that's what it takes.
