Questions / How to get Custom# tag to show a dropdown list?
« on: March 27, 2024, 09:25:00 AM »
Hello,
There are a few different keywords I want to add under the ‘Custom1’ tag. I wanted to know if it’s possible to enable a dropdown in the “Tags (2)” view for it to show all the current keywords under said tag to make it easier to apply the keywords to future songs. Basically, a dropdown exactly like how the “mood” or “occasion” entries are.
Example
Thanks : )

Neat, thanks!

Hello,
I have an auto-playlist I made that I use to function as a modified recently-played history list. My issue is that if a song plays that was already played 20 songs ago, it will just bring it back up to the top. I would rather it keep that older instance of the song and create a newer instance in addition.
It could just be something that I’m overlooking . . .
Visual
Any help would be appreciated :)

My 'Album and Tracks' view keeps the same issue as the other views, but the 'track' view has the hh:mm:ss format. Very odd!

I typically view my albums in the 'playlists' category, as they're all audiobooks and I like seeing their covers :0)
Though not a solution, the insight you provided is very appreciated! Perhaps it is simply an oversight somewhere?

Hmmm, I'm on the most recent version on my desktop, though my laptop has an older version, and they both have the issue. When I start to play an album, the time at the bottom is how I want it and isn't the issue, but the album 'preview' is only listed at mmmm:ss. If you have any other hours-long tracks in your collection, are they also in the hh:mm:ss format? You didn't fiddle with anything prior?

It's been quite a while since I had made the original post, and I had long ago settled with what I have. However, with new updates and perhaps new information, I'm hoping that someone might know if this is possible now? Thank you! :0)

Questions / Change Album Length from mmm:ss Format to hh:mm:ss Format
« on: December 27, 2021, 06:58:15 AM »
Hello all!
I found this post from 2017 that describes what I'm looking for perfectly. Basically, my library is full of audiobooks that are hours long and their track lengths are unfortunately formatted as mmm:ss, (so a 2 hour 10 minute 30 second track becomes 130:30). I would rather have it formatted as hh:mm:ss (2:10:30), like it at the bottom of the screen when you play a track. In the post I linked, Steven replied in April of 2020 that this would be an added feature in ver. 3.4, but I haven't seen any instructions on how to make this change. I was wondering if it was in fact added and if anyone knows how to access and configure this option. Thanks for any help!

YEEEEESS!! It works! For some weird reason it reads "2021" as "0202" on mine, but by using;
$Replace($Replace($Replace($Replace($Replace($Replace($Replace($Replace($Replace($Replace($Date(<Date Added>,MM-dd-yyyy),9,9),8,8),7,7),6,6),5,5),4,4),3,3),2,2),1,1),0,0)
it fixes that issue. Thanks so much!!!!  :D  :D  :D

Okay so I was tinkering with the formula a bit (keep in mind idk what I'm doing) and by using this;
$Date(<Date Added>,MM-dd-yyyy)
I was able to get it pretty close to what i want. It's now in the correct order BUT sadly it's only sorted from first ever added playlist to most recent playlist. So, the most recent playlists are at the bottom and I don't know how to fix that :c. If anyone knows what I can add to the formula to fix this please let me know!

Omg its almost perfect! The only thing is that it organizes them with "Dec 01" at the top rather than "Dec 16" (the date of my last added playlist). Like, it seems it starts from the first of the month and the rest of the days follow from there. Trying to sort them by date added descending only moves the albums around in their respective days. Is there a way to move the last day of the month to the top instead? If not this was all still a big help and I appreciate you taking the time to talk me through it! :D

Yeah, my library is only audiobooks so I want to view their covers just not the tracks. I like the sorting for the 'tracks' option though (thanks for letting me know about it), I just need that for the 'album' format viewing as well (though not necessarily by hour/minute if possible). Basically in the same way that an ipad groups pictures; by the day all were created

Ahhhh, I see now. Pretty nice! Is there anyway to keep them sorted like that but in 'album icon' form, rather than listed by track? I have audiobooks and some of them are dozens of tracks long lol >_<
