Hey there,  there is a way to scale down everything? is too big for me.
You'll need to change the font size, and other size related information and then save it.

2
hy!  the font in my windows 4k in 200% its out of screen

thanks

I think you have to edit the font size for the theme you're using

Skins / Re: Dark skin with Player Centered (and Left) (Resource included)

I don't know what i'm doing wrong but i cant hide the right sidebar and the artist name below is being cutoff.
Click on the "Configure Layout" icon on the top left on the screen (beside the search bar). Then click > Right Sidebar > Hide Panel

The embedded skin is outdated, you'll need this one: https://getmusicbee.com/addons/theater-mode/356/album-art-with-playlist-and-lyrics/

You are activating the theater mode from the wrong place.
You need to do the last step in the Now Playing tab.

@mvana...It's probably best that you mention that somewhere in the instructions, since it may not be so obvious to new MusicBee users.

I've added the keyword "Now Playing tab".
Thanks for helping out

Hi,
Can we have indicator light or color or something to show if any of the Auto-Shutdown Settings are active or show it's different states?

I'm afraid #2 cannot happen (would require a major re-write of MB).
I was afraid of that. Maybe some freeware vst host rewire thing or something like that can solve it  :-\  ...

Not presently, but you should post this request in the Wishlist forum;  would receive a +1 from me, although my screen is rather "sufficiently obligated" already.
Thanks, just posted. https://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=35884

MusicBee Wishlist / VST plugins in the Panel Layout
« on: December 11, 2021, 06:08:58 AM »

1. Feature for putting VST in the panels.
Resizing might be an issue but lot of vst now have resize feature.
Hi, can we put the vst gui into a panel? like in the right side bar? I have good resizable vu meter and other monitoring vst, it would be a great setup to be able to put them somewhere in the panel layout.

2. And VST3 x64 support would be great! Since it's difficult to find VST2 x86 these days. Mostly all good vst are 64 bit in VST3 format.

MusicBee Wishlist / LARGER - DEFAULT SIZE BUTTON FOR WINDOW
« on: December 10, 2021, 11:02:20 AM »
Hi, can we get bigger buttons? Currently window close, minimize, restore buttons are spaced very close, which makes me click the wrong button often (since all the other window, like- chrome, explorer, etc. has the same button positions.

Example:

Comparison between default window buttons vs current MusicBee buttons:

Currently skinning only changes the image of the buttons but the size and spacing stays the same.

Decide if this is going to be your default playlist view.
If so, open one of your playlists settings and make sure that 'display using view:' is set to 'default'
Arrange that playlist how you would like it to look and re-save.
All other playlists set as 'default' view will automatically use this new default view if that's what it's set to.

If you are not going to use the view as your default setting, set your playlist up as you want it to look, right-click on the header> Custom Views> Copy Current View Settings To... (whatever you want to call it)
Then all you have to do is change the  'display using view:' in your other playlists to that saved setting.

I was using the "default view for one playlist and rest of them changes" method but that was limited among only custom playlists, it didn't effect any auto playlists.

But your method works for both type of playlist, I saved the custom view as a file and it automatically changed the rest. Didn't even know that was an option.

But it would be nice if there was an easy method for average users.

Instead of changing the layouts of the 40+ playlists one by one, the easiest way to go about it would be to:

1. Create a new/empty playlist with the desired layout. So that means adding your virtual tags and appropriately sizing them (You'd be creating a template in other words)
2. Then go to the playlists folder in W-explorer and duplicate this playlist 40 times (much quicker than in MB). Doing this ensures that the duplicates all have the layout of the original.
3. Then return to MB and add files to the new playlists using the existing ones. e.g Selecting all tracks from old playlist xyz and adding them to one of the newly created playlists.
4. All that would be left is to delete old playlist xyz and rename the new playlist containing the files, xyz (name of the old).

You obviously would have to do this for the other 39 playlists (starting from step 3). But I reckon this is much quicker than changing/resizing the layouts for each of the existing playlists.
Also, if you would be dealing with auto-playlists too, you would need two templates...one for static playlists and the other for auto-playlists.
But it's ofc up to you if this is all worth the trouble :)

Thanks man, that's the way for now I guess.

I had to give this up, since I needed to change every single playlist, where I have over 40 playlists. Not practical

Skins / Dark skin with Player Centered (and Left) (Resource included)
« on: December 03, 2021, 01:25:38 PM »
Dark skin with player controls centered and another with player on the left, and a skin for Theater Embedded mode for the Now Playing tab.

2 Colors, 3 Skins : Lime Green and Windows Blue

Download page for the theme. Any feedback, help is very much appreciated.

Instructions:
Install skin ( .xmlc file):
View > Skins > Add Skin > Choose the xmlc files

Or you can simply put the skins into:
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\MusicBee\Skins

Important: For the Skin with Centered Player Buttons:
Keep the Album Cover enabled in the main player, since the player buttons and progress bar position is depended on it to stay centered.

To enable main player auto-color:
Right Click over the Main Player > Panel Layout > Auto-Pick Panel Colors

To customize the track details you want to show on the bottom left corner:
1. Select default MusicBee 3 theme (because some theme can disable this customization feature)
2. Right Click over Main Player
3. Panel Layout > Customize... > Create desired settings.

If you want, you can install the font Outfit and enable it from:
Edit > Edit Preferences > Layout - choose Fonts here.

To get your NOW PLAYING tab similar as the screenshots attached:

1. Put the " SLICK View.xml " into
C:\Program Files (x86)\MusicBee\Plugins\TheaterMode.Embeded\

2. Restart MusicBee

4. Click > Configure Layout Icon > Main Panel > Theater Mode > SLICK View
