Hi! For those interested by the RateYourMusic genres hierarchy, I've created a file with all the 1705 genres RYM currently has.  Their genres hierarchy might not be perfect (I think they are currently moving from a genres only system to a genres+descriptors system so it's a work in progress I guess) but it goes quite in the details, especially for the "Regional Music" top-level which has something around 7 nested levels.

Bug Reports / Strange behavior when using Auto-tag

Hi,

I've identified a strange problem when using the Auto-tag feature.
I only use this feature to update the 'mood' field using Auto-Tag by Track > Update Tags using using Last.fm Tag Cloud and only checking overwrite Mood tag where the tag cloud contains any of but this behavior seems to be the same when checkin other options.

For each track a 'mood' field is found, few things happend besides the 'MOOD' tag being added to the ID3v2 :

* ID3v1 : YEAR field is removed
* ID3v2 : ENCODER and TYER are added
* APEv2 : seems like it's removed

Anyone can reproduce this behavior?

I have latest version (3.1.6466) on Windows 7.
My lame.exe version is 3.99.5

Hello,

Is there any way via the actual API methods to read through the library?
I guess the database is in SQLite 3 and it would be great if we could access it via SQL commands!

Hi,

Milkdrop is fully functional in windowed mode but in full screen it's all black and if I try to return to MB (double-click anywhere on the screen or ESC), MB crashes with no reason.
I tried to install the DirectX fix but it won't install on my machine...

Voilà
