Win 7 isn't obsolete! Obsolete is Win XP  :-\

Windows 7 is 10 years old and Microsoft stopped supporting it six months ago. In computing terms, that's obsolete, especially for an operating system.
But not the cause of your problem anyway.

As I mentioned before I've disabled Segoe UI Regular and haven't deleted or removed it.

How have you disabled it without uninstalling it?

I know that very well  :-X  Win 7 is a bit outdated but not obsolete!  8)
As I said, Segoe UI is present in my Fonts folder and I haven't removed it. I've just disabled it via registry.

Well, don't you think it's a simple bug that should be removed?!  :-\  :-X  8)
I don't think anyone but yourself would consider this a bug. And -you- are the one that caused it by removing a system font.

I'm moving this to the Questions section as it's clearly not a bug within MB.

If you don't want to try the suggestions offered, I don't think anyone is going to be able to help you.

Well, no problem. This IS a bug but as I said no problem  8)   I just wanted to give MusicBee a try, and it sadly failed  :-\  I have many other alternatives  ;)

I think you are creating problems yourself by using an obsolete operating system, and instead of just selecting some other font that you like better, deleting what is pretty much the default font for Windows and most of it's applications.

And I find it a bit rude that you immediately label and post this as being a bug on MusicBee's account.

As I mentioned before I've disabled Segoe UI Regular and haven't deleted or removed it. And this IS an MB's bug. Even if I use Win 10 and disable Segoe UI Regular, this problem still exists. I'm using about 100 programs on my system, from office software to CAD software, web browsers, audio/video/image editors, media players, ebook readers, IDEs, text editors, etc. and none of them have any problem. This is a bug that can be simply fixed  8)
And if you find it rude, that's your problem  :-\

I would suggest reinstalling the system font. Launch MB and -then- you can change the MB fonts. Once all the fonts are changed delete Segoe and see if MB restarts.

I'll probably regret asking, but why would you remove one of the default fonts used by the operating system?

Well, it looks better to me  8)  Segoe UI Regular texts stand too upright while with it disabled, text lean forward a bit, as it can be seen in the screenshot, and that looks better  ;)

Good post  ;)

The latest version of MusicBee Portable (v3.3.7491) fails to start just because I have disabled Segoe UI Regular on my Windows 7 system  :-X
All other programs work fine and with no problem. The only other one that crashed on startup due to missing Segoe UI Regular font was Subtitle Edit. That bug was fixed after I reported it to Subtitle Edit's developer (Nikse.dk/subtitleedit).

The complete error log is:
