My guess here would be that, if you go to the Albums header menu > Customise Panel... and then click the Show Settings button, you will have the 'fields displayed' set to Title and Artist - as in this screenshot:



Try removing the Artist field (set it to a blank). Then, for an album where Artist <> Album Artist, the artist is shown on the same line - as in this screenshot:



Hopefully this will better suit your layout.

I that section I have only
- Title
- Virtual Tag showing only guest artists

btw I fixed the issue just adding the production company name (Sadesper Record) as album artist and to each track with no artist tag

Hi!  

Most of these compilation songs have no artist tag, how do I remove the empty spaces without removing the artist tag? (track 1)

Check the settings of that, you can accomplish the same as in my previous screenshot.

How exactly? There's no third header,

You can use the sub-grouping header for that:

I already use the sub-grouping header for albums with multiple cd names (Disc 1, Disc 2, Bonus Tracks etc.)

I really like the "Album Covers" layout...
I'm not definitely going to switch with Album and Tracks view for just a third header 


I thought this would be easy to add... if it's not then it's fine the way it is now, not a big issue

*Forgot to say that I exclusively use the Album Covers view

The number of columns depends on the width of the main panel. You can resize either the main panel or sidebars to adjust it.

How exactly?  

Grab an edge of the panel or window and drag

Nevermind, I'm back at 3.2 version and I got back the option "Display tracks as a single column"
