as i always do and it has always worked up to now, i type an artist name in the search box, usually to get any and all music of that artist, or a song title because i can't find it and i know i have it.

Questions / Re: error msg when trying to burn a cd
« on: January 29, 2020, 08:59:19 AM »
yes that  is correct and error easily found  thanks

problems is the error says-- erase media not supported
the current media is not supported

the cd is a sony-R 700 mb  from a stack o 50+ from which. i have burned dozens of other playlists using windows mp, until reecently when i discovered musicbee.
have burned only 1 on mbee, but from the same  stack as the "unsupported media" ones.  i have purchsed ay new stack of blanks, but do not want to waste any more.  any idea what the problem is?    why is the musicbee burn system misreading the cd-r media as erasable.  i have never/do not use erasable ones for my playlists. and that is the  only purpose/my use of blank cds.

thanks

Questions / Re: error msg when trying to burn a cd
« on: January 29, 2020, 06:48:30 AM »
thank you-- not sure what u mean by "actual error" as that is why I am writing-- as I said, I looked all over and found that list and know it is not on there.  BUT I copied the error exactly verbatim as  I wrote it.  using internet google I hit several sites with errors, including the one u sent and it is nowhere to be found-- so what do I do?  if it is "invalid" why am I getting it?  on 5 blank supposedly blank cds

here's a bit ore info.
when I start to burn, before the error, I get in bright red-- cd not emply, erasing cd-- then I get the error.  I thought this was because it is NOT an erasable cd-- only R /writeable

when I open the cd, I get this:

Files ready to be written to the disc (1)
desktop.ini   configuration settings  1KB

when I click that, I get this:

[.ShellClassInfo]
LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-21815

I just don't want to continue wasting a bunch of bland cds trying to burn a playlist
s\thanks again or any suggestion or help

Questions / adding songs/tracks
« on: April 17, 2019, 12:12:18 PM »
OK  just got musicbee and really like it-- it's a bit complicated but I don't have to use all the features (data tracking).  It has a better sound than winmedia and i really like the panel (bios and lyrics etc.) BUT i cannot figures out how to add songs!! I have tried the methods suggested but none work.  What shall i do?
