Hi,
Can you connect musicbee to the shield via chromecast?
My musicbee has a 'Chromecast Button' in the top toolbar. When I click on that it shows 'Shield' as a device. When I click on 'Shield' I get 'Musicbee' displayed on my TV. When I start playing music in Musicbee all plays fine. My Musicbee output is set to Speakers (Realtek(R) Audio)

Thanks for your answer. For me it's the same as you, when I click on "Shield" , I get MusicBee message on my TV. But no sound from my Shield/TV when I play a song from Musicbee. And I still have "Error starting the webserver. Webserver exception". So I will try to change the output selection, thanks again !  

Also. if it is working, as well as hearing the playing track, the album art should show on your TV screen.
Is the webserver port for the addin set to 8080?

Hello I've got it working.
I had the issue previous people have had with details etc being displayed (In my case on a TV via a NVidia Shield) but no sound. All I did was in MusicBee on my laptop, change Output to Primary Sound Driver. Hey Presto, sound! Everything seems to working fine now!

I've been using Musicbee for a couple of years now. The only thing I can think of is there was a firmware update on my music streamer today (Cambridge Audio CXN), as the streamer plays a track then pauses. It could be that. I'll investigate that, maybe it isn't to do with musicbee. I stream from laptop to streamer. Hmm.

Hi, I think this is not a Music bee issue, or at least not initiated by MB today, i also have a CXN and had the same issue after it upgraded its firmware, i was using DS audio not even MB at the time, my CXN was on beta firmware mode, i switched back to normal firmware and it downgraded itself, it solved the problem.

Hi, I think you're right. How did you reset the firmware?

Hi,
Probably a simple solution but whenever I click on an album or a single track it stops playing after the track or first track finishes playing. What am I doing wrong? I just want to play the whole album or the whole album from the track I select.

Hi,
The only way I could see was by copying and pasting the web address of the youtube page from my normal brower. So not ideal.
