Bug Reports / Whole Collection Introduces Itself To My Playing List.
« on: December 26, 2019, 07:37:36 PM »
Hi, I have been having this problem:

I create a list, lets say 400 songs.

I play said list by shuffling it.

At some point I decide to listen to a song not on the list through the "Queue Next" feature.

A few songs later my ENTIRE song collection introduces itself in by Now Playing list.

So then I have to go the Now Playing tab scroll down my whole song collection to arrive at the song that was supposed to played next according to the shuffle.

It now has happening too many times to ignore (at least 7 times).

Thank you for your help and happy holidays.

Questions / Re: How to Lock Columns Width?
« on: November 24, 2019, 03:04:43 AM »
Hi guys and gals, I have manually changed the width of my columns and now I would like to fix them as they are, how do I go about doing this?

You may want to try out the option to save 'Custom Views'.
It's available by clicking the header of the main panel.
You can save specific layouts there.

(note that it is not called something like 'Save current view settings' but it's called 'Copy Current View Settings To', which makes it a bit less obvious to understand what it does in my personal opinion)

I guess this will do for now, thanks!

If you mean you want to lock the widths, I don't think there's a way to do that. It would have to go on the wishlist.

Yeah, that's what I meant.

Questions / FLAC: Error when adding files.
« on: June 01, 2019, 02:36:54 AM »
Hi guys and gals. I'm having trouble adding FLAC files to MusicBee.

After adding my files they appear all wrong:

See? For some reason multiple files of the same song appear (song names are to the far left). Also, for some reason the size of the last song of the album appear with a N/A designation.

Finally, don't know if this is relevant, but in date added (far right) it says 1/23/2019 which is incorrect since I'm adding the files today. I might have tried to add the same album before at another date but delete it some time ago.

When I try to edit the files they don't appear as if they were split (where you can edit songs separately) but instead you can only edited them at the same time.

Please help.

Hi guys/gals, question:

Can I create a playlist in which songs would be displayed be the order in which I added to said playlist? Because it seems every time a create a playlist songs are sorted by album, or signer etc.

Thanks.

Questions / MusicBee remembering where I left on my playlist shuffle?
« on: July 07, 2018, 04:44:26 PM »
Hi guys and gals, new to MusicBee switching from iTunes and I would like to know if this is possible to do with MusicBee:

Lets say I have a playlists of 10 songs.

I choose to shuffle said 10 playlist.

I get to listen to the first 3 songs on my shuffled playlist but some reason have to close my MusicBee/shut down my computer.

When I restart my computer and open MusicBee I would like for the program to remember the 7 songs that were left on my playlist without playing and the order it had pre-selected that the upcoming songs were going to play.

Is that possible? iTunes does this and it is an important tool for me.

Thank you.
