I have put the plugin where belongs. It shows up as a plugin in settings. However it does not appear anywhere in musicbee ui for my system. I have customised the layout using the standard themes and settings, so maybe I am looking in the wrong place for it. Where exactly can you see it working?

Sorted all my plugins now with the store version. But I noticed that in the thumbnail browser you can't paste artwork over the default ones as it comes up with 'invalid picture'

Your right. Been using musicbee for years now with a large library of music. I have always installed plugins by copying them to the plugins folder. I have never noticed the 'add plugins' button. I might give the store version another go although I normaly use your beta versions. Once again thanks for a great application.

I tried the store version but found that I could not get any of the plugins to work. Would be interesting to know if they do and if so how to get them working.

Thanks for that Steven.

On another issue in music explorer when using the 'more albums' with an xbox pass if you try to play the whole album it only plays the first track then stops. It works for retail albums on disk just does not when streaming from xbox.

Also if a track is downloaded using groove (the new xbox music player in win 10) and then you try to play it a license error comes up, but that might just be the way xbox music files work and not fixable.

I tried changing the skin to the windows style but now can't open musicbee 3 is there a config file I can delete/edit to get back in with out re-installing?

Edit - it's ok renamed the musicbee3 backup settings file to replace the active one and it works fine.

Thanks for the quick fixes.

On another point is there anyway that it can be made possible to play xbox music that has been downloaded into the collection via 'groove'. At the moment it comes up with a WMA licence error. I have an xbox pass and everything works for streaming. Musicbee lists songs downloaded into the collection but can't play them.

Thanks for that. Yes I was referring to the bar that displays at the bottom.  I rather liked the artist picture where it was. Maybe an option to put it back?

The track information panel in 2.5 has an album cover and artist picture (in the bottom panel). I can double click on these and it opens the picture/cover in a floating window. In version 3 only the album cover is shown and it can no longer be opened by double clicking it. I can only get the artist picture now to display in the left library panel in the main player view.

This is the first time I have tried the demo. Maybe I am missing something but the back and forward buttons on the mouse do not seem to work in version 3.

Looks good, but will take some getting used to. I will miss the feature of double clicking the album or artist pictures to get them in a large floating screen.

Thanks and I will do Steven. It is a great edition to the player. It is one of the reasons I got the music pass in the first place as it is much better then using Microsoft 'Music' or the web based xbox player.

It would be really nice to have a right click search for a 'search on xbox'. That way would be easy to find artists already in the library on xbox.

I set up an xbox music sub and everything was working fine. Could stream full albums through MusicBee etc. However this morning I tried to stream and it would not work. I went to the plug-in page and clicked log on but all I get is 'your subscription on xbox is not enabled. Try again later'. However if I login to xbox music via firefox the I can stream perfectly and my account has registered that there is a subscription enabled.

Edit:

Seem to have fixed it by using the 'get a music pass' button in preferences rather than the log on option. The xbox website opened to create a music pass but then I just closed the site and logged in via MusicBee and it worked.

I fixed the issue with a clean install of Windows 8.1 and Musicbee.
