So I had zero playlists in my MB playlists now all of sudden they are back but NOT in the Music  MusicBee  Playlist folder.  Very frustrating.  And yet I can't even import my MU3 playlists.  I go to import playlists & it shows no files even tho there are 4 playlists that work find in Media Monkey.

Questions / Deleting Playlists
« on: September 03, 2020, 10:29:44 PM »
Here is an answer from back in 2010 from Steven (Admin) which is easier tho not 100% correct. for now just delete the .m3u from the Playlists folder where the music bee library is set (by default the Music folder)
Also in later versions than you are using it no longer imports the playlists on the initial scan as a number people have had the same issue as you. In my search for a better & easier to use music mgt I have tried them all.  Some better than others but not great including Music Bee.

I just loaded up all my MP'3 & scanned just the music. I got 100's of playlists today & no way to delete except 1 at time even after I unchecked confirm on the delete option. I went to Music  Music Bee Playlist and found some but not all there. I deleted all and boom they were all gone.

Thanks Phred. I was hoping someone who was a wiz would help point out how to do that.  But as Forrest Gump once said " I am not a smart man"   After your reply I went through every menu choice and tried to find it, but no luck.  Can u give me a  dummies step by step how to get to the right view to start selecting?  Thanks for any guidance.

I have over 72k tracks and I have a very messy library which I have been trying to clean up.  I posted in general forum and got some great help in deleting "albums" but it's still slow and painful.   It would be nice to just highlight an "album" and hit the delete button without having to confirm.  Like I said, I found out about the shift-delete option but that's still one at a time. https://imgur.com/a/0QPk5Bl

Questions / Re: How to turn off confirmation while deleting songs?

Thanks that works fine.  It would be nice to be able to either look in the artist colum and then right click or just highlight & hit delete key.  Should I post that in the wish list forum?

Questions / How to turn off confirmation while deleting songs?
« on: January 25, 2019, 01:35:33 AM »
I have a ton of albums that sorted by artist ie greatest hits of 60's but now have 100's of each artist with 2 songs each. It's taking forever to delete each on and confirm twice.  I went into preference but couldn't click it off.

Cool.  Thanks Frankz.  Along with your suggestions about the tagging and also by going into the each song & right Clicking I found delete.  While not fun to do each one at a time , it worked & now I have ONE Jethro Tull listing.

You both might be on the right track and I just spent 30 min looking for metadata.  I get that it's "advanced" but it shouldn't be that hard.  I really do appreciate the help.  I was already in the Album Artist and found the tab or place to change. No matter what I changed it to it still shows the 3 Tull.  The top light brown one is the "right one" and the other 2 with Ian Anderson on flute are the wrong ones.

Questions / How to delete an album?
« on: January 17, 2019, 06:46:56 PM »
Just downloaded MB and scanned my albums.  Why do Music programs make things so hard?  Itunes is not user friendly and Media Monkey would take a rocket scientist to use it.  I thought MBee would be in between.  But nope.  I did search for delete but go no results.  For Example: I have a main folder with all my Jethro Tull albums. But I also have 2 more Jethro Tull folders.  One has 2 songs in it and the other 6 songs.  I right click and all I can do is add it to playlist or play functions.  I go up to file and nope nothing there either.  I hit the delete key on my keyboard and nope can't delete.  So any ideas?

Questions / playlist update
« on: February 16, 2017, 06:50:32 PM »
I must be dense. In trying to delete 100's of misc playlists in Music Bee, I found the topic where an Admin pointed me to my music folder & I deleteted all but 2.  But they still show in Music Bee.  Do I just need to close & reopen or what.  I found a topic where another admin said to use organize. But when I opened organize & made sure Playlist was checked and ran it nothing happened.  Please help.
