Questions / How to manage libraries with two computers

I have all my music folders on a network drive mapped to my laptop and my desktop computer.
Now when i am ready to make libraries. Should i then save my libraries on the network drive where the music folders are located so
that both my desktop and laptop computers can access and share the same libraries? Or should i have the libraries located on each computer?

Update:

Reason this did not work was because i had chosen external audio interface in MB, when switching to primary sound driver its working.

Hi

When i use Google Chrome and cast my pc desktop to Nvidia Shield Tv i cannot get any sound from MB.
All other apps and programs ive tried cast the sound. Is there something i can do to fix this?

The patch did solve the issue.
But after the patch Avast got really interested in the musicbee.exe file and keeps sending it to Avast Virus Lab for interrogation. And musicbee wont start.

When clicking on settings to add my location i get this error message "unable to initialize settings. please try again later"
Its been like this since the install.

I have transferred all my music to the nvidia shield connected to a samsung tv.
I miss using Musicbee when browsing thru my music. At the moment i use Plex, but its not the same as having the full library view of all the music on one "page" like musicbee and winamp has.

I hear ya buddy. I hear ya. I'm sharing the MusicBee Library Folder and connecting it on the Shield side as a network storage, that way all the songs pop up in Shield but all I'm lacking are the playlists.

Also what music player do you use on Shield. When I googled "Top Music Player for Android TV" all I get are lists of streaming services.

As far as i know it doesnt exist a proper music player like winamp or MusicBee for the android platform. I ended up using Plex which is quite good, but still not the same as a dedicated music player like winamp or MusicBee.

Questions / MB on dual boot system windows

On my windows 10 desktop machine i have a dual boot system (i have one os optimized for DAW use).

I have MusicBee installed on both OS. But im not really sure if i should use seperate libraries or use the same libraries for both instances.
All libraries points to my music which is stored on a different drive. Any ideas how it should be setup?

I use mp3Tag to remove embedded images from my files... should work with non-mp3s as well.

By mistake i embedded some artwork into the music files.
Cant find a way to reverse this process and remove the artwork from the files.
Any ideas?

I have deleted the artwork so its no longer shown in MB, but the files in explorer still shows the artwork.

Think ill stick to the manual delete for know since i dont have too many albums in my library.
Ive actually used RED not so long time ago, nice tool, but as you say, use with caution:)

It should delete the folder, if there are no other files left behind.

I see, so that explains why folders arent deleted i suppose, cause there are always some log, cue, jpg etc files inside the music folders.
