FYI, My music library, as well as my MB installation is hosted on DropBox. (Not sure if this would create this issue)

While I don't rate my music, I find the above request reasonable.

I use ratings for a few of my auto-playlists. This would help alleviate removing songs that I don't really care for anymore. You know, the ones that lost their ZING.

MusicBee Wishlist / Auto Rating needs skip count de-rating integration

Not sure if this has ever been asked for before, so I apologize if it has. I just found the auto-rating feature (been using MB for about 10 years now, man am I slow?). I've been toying with the idea of creating a plugin that would auto-Derate if tracks met certain skip criteria. Having just found Auto-Rate, I'm wondering if this is something that can be integrated into that feature?

My thought of how the feature would work is, auto-derate a track if the skip count is > than 3. Derate would be in half star increments. Or this could be manually adjusted by the user as the auto rate feature already does. Every time the skip count reaches a multiple of 3 (or what ever the user sets) the app would lower the rating by half a star.

Library syncing back and forth between mobile devices could be crucial here, since I primarily listen to my library on the go. Currently, I can't tell if skipping a track on GoneMad on my Android phone has any effect after syncing with my PC.

Questions / Looking for a 'Has .LRC' sort tag to create smart playlist

I have just recently started using LRC files for my lyrics and I'm looking for a way to create a smart playlist that can auto-fill with songs that don't (or do) have LRC files associated with them. (I am saving the LRCs to the same folder as the track). I've looked into virtual tags, but that doesn't look like the route I need. Also starting to look at custom tags, but not seeing how that might work.

Any help please.

What is the best way to rename an album folder that is already in my MB library? For example, I have a Metallica live album, but it's folder on the hard drive is the date of the show. I want to rename it to the concert name without losing the link to the song in my library.

I seem to remember, in a previous version, being able to split the right panel in to 2 sections. I had the upper section showing current track info and the lower section showing lyrics for current song.

Is this still possible and I'm just not seeing how to do it?

Anyone wishing to do this... It works great. My library is also hosted on Dropbox and I have Dropbox Desktop installed, so it treated it as a local install.

I want to install MB-Portable on to my Dropbox account so that my settings will be the same no matter what computer I am using. I have a current install on my local desktop and my laptop. How would I go about transferring my settings from the desktop to the portable version? I want to keep all my synced device settings as well.

Questions / Why Does MB auto skip tracks in the Queue?

I have noticed the little "minus" icon next to some of the tracks in my "Now Playing" music queue. They seem to be completely random? Why does MB do this? I don't have any auo playlist settings that would cause this.

Hi, I had MusicBee installed on Win7 Pro and had to re-install my OS. I still have access to the old HDD installation and want to know which files I need to copy over to the new installation, in order to keep my settings.

MusicBee Wishlist / Auto Change Rating of Skipped Songs

i would love to see the ability to decrease the rating of a song by half a star exch time the skip count is increased by 2. I could probably do this through the API myself, but I just read about the API and wanted to see if the dev team could look into this first. If not, I'll look into it on my end.

Please advise.
