The version 3.5.8429 is crashing on me everytime I try to open the Web Browser. The error log is as follows;

Bug Reports / Total amount in Inbox not updating

This observation is more of a nuisance than anything else. Suppose an album is in the inbox and is "auto-tag by Album" through the right-click on the total tracks of the album. In that case, the number of tracks remaining in the inbox is not updated even though "add to the library" is selected in the "Album Auto Tagger" window.

MusicBee Wishlist / Ability to seach for duplicates by signature rather than title and artist

It would be helpful if duplicates are marked as such through their signature rather than through the same title and artist. As it is, MB is missing duplicates because of inconsistencies in the way the title or artist is written and thus it will be missed altogether. A space or a comma in one of the tags would miss a duplicate altogether.

Bug Reports / Unable to open stream

I just found out the option to open a stream from the file menu of MB Ver 3.5.8109 P and thought to give it a try opening a stream from Spotify. I was given the error code Unable to open stream (BASS_ERROR_Unknown). Is it a bug or has it something to do with Spotify? I would like to apologise if I posted this in the wrong forum.

Bug Reports / time remaining in Playlist

The "time remaining" in the playlist does not show the actual time remaining if a track is removed or moved from the upcoming tracklist. It will revert to correct once the next track is being played. I do not know whether this can actually be fixed.  It is just a nuisance more than anything.

I am using Version 3.4.7731 P on Windows 10 20H2.

I am using Version 3.4.7726 P which I assume is the latest version.

Something funny is going on with MB and the playlist is not working correctly. If you remove a number from the now playing track, it will jump the next queued track and plays the one after. If one puts a track, before the playing track, it will go back and replays the track already played.  If the playlist is put on shuffle, it sometimes plays a number, not in the playlist.

I do not know whether I explained the bug correctly. If not I can send screenshots or do an example.

Bug Reports / Weird behaviour from latest patch MB3.4.7625P

I try to keep my copies of MB up-to-date by installing patches at least once a week.

When I clicked on the portable installation of the file, Windows Defender marked MB as dangerous and I had to turn it off in order to run.
The installation on the desktop produced another weird message. It is now asking me whether I want to install it or not. Clicking on install, it asks me in a second window whether I want MB to make changes in Windows. Clicking on Yes, MB runs smoothly as far as I can tell.

Questions / Empty "album artist" shows as "Artist"

i don't know whether it is intentional or not, but "Album Artist" is being displayed as "Artist" when a list is produced in the main centre of the programme. In my opinion, it should show as empty, like say, "Original Album".

Questions / Strange behaviour

Rather than a bug, I find this as a strange behaviour of two installations of Muscibee, one on a portable device and the other one on the desktop computer.  There are times when I would need the two installations open on the same computer. I found out that I can carry tracks from the desktop installation to the portable installation but not vice versa.

There are times when I would like to duplicate the playing list on the portable to the desktop but with this restriction, it cannot be done. Is there a solution other than having to compile the playlist again?

Bug Reports / Plugins sometimes not being able to be enabled

I just noticed something funny with regards to plugins and I sincerely do not know whether it is a bug in MB or Windows 10 for that matter. I have two icons on my desktop. One actually on the desktop and the other one in the taskbar for quick access. If I initiate MB from the icon on the taskbar with administrative rights, the plugins would be able to be enabled. On the other hand, if I initiate MB from the taskbar icon, some of the plugins will not be able to start. If I try to enable them from the preferences menu, they would generate a error. Mind you, this is just a nuisance as I can always use MB through the desktop icon but I thought I would just let you know!
