Hello,

I've found a little issue that keeps bothering me as I can't find a solution. I'd like to use a big font size for the lyrics on the Lyrics tab of the Main player view and a small font size on the compact view, but whenever I set a font size on the settings, this size appears on the other settings, so I have to use a small or a big font size on both places, as the font size seems to be linked on these two settings.

Have I done anything wrong? Thanks!

MusicBee Wishlist / Three little suggestions
« on: September 09, 2013, 11:22:25 AM »
I’d like to make three little suggestions (they came up while testing the new features of the Download Tool).

1. It’d save some time if, being on the main view of MB displaying all the artist pictures, we could press a letter and go to the first artist beginning with this letter. Here, I press M to go the Spanish group Mecano and nothing happens:

2. Would it be possible to select and copy the tag info both on the Playing Track tab and on the Details tab? In the following example, the name of the artist is short and simple, but in those cases where the name is longer and harder to write, it’d save some time if we want, for example, to Google it.

The only problem I see, in the Details tab, is that this would interfere with clicking on album and artist.

3. Which leads me to my third little request. It’d look more elegant if the underline on album and artist, on the Details tab, only affected the actual album and artist and not the names of the tags (see image above).

Thanks for considering these little changes.

MusicBee Wishlist / Behaviour when removing a folder from a library
« on: July 01, 2013, 10:24:54 PM »
Hello everybody,

When you remove a folder from the list of folders that are part of your library, MB interprets that you want to keep having access to all the music contained in this folder; it also interprets, at the same time (which, in my opinion, it’s contradictory), that you simply don’t want MB to update the files contained in this folder.

I’d like to suggest another behaviour: when you remove a folder from the list of folders of your library, MB could interpret that you simply don’t want any music in this folder to be displayed in your library: otherwise, you’d just keep the folder in the list in order to keep it updated.

Please support this request! :-)

MusicBee Wishlist / Tab layout on the Now Playing Playlist view
« on: June 27, 2013, 11:03:53 AM »
Hello, Steve,

I don’t know if this is exactly a wishlist item, but you suggested opening a thread, and so I am doing.

I’d like to propose to disconnect (if this is the right word) two features: displaying Details, Artwork and Lyrics in tabs on the right sidebar, on the one hand, and displaying the Now Playing list on the aforementioned right sidebar, on the other hand.

The consequences of this connection, of these two features being linked, is that, when you are on the Now Playing Playlist, there’s no way of having Details, Artwork and Lyrics displayed in tabs, since the Now Playing list can’t be turned on.

If you go, on the right sidebar, to Customize panel settings, you’ll see that, as I’ve just said, the Now Playing list can’t be turned on and that prevents the user from selecting the layout in tabs for Details, Artwork and Lyrics, which is the best layout in my opinion.

Here are two captions you may find useful:

I hope I explained myself well.

Thanks,

David
